Once upon a time this was a great Big Boy. Now it's understaffed and no longer an option on my dinner list. No salad bar. The... staffing issues are huge and one wonders if it's truly a shortage or if management has learned to run the restaurant on lessstaff and make more money. This would be an avoid at all costs IMO. This is my opinion and my opinion alone, but I think like any other business they're trying to make their money back on upping... their prices on the everyday consumer. which I don't think it's fair, The food was OK ordered a slim gym with a cup of chickennoodle soup and my wife got a Swiss Burger and fries which she didn't order the fries they came with it and we were ended upbeing charged for it anyway, and then we took home some soup for home and a couple cookies $37 I said what..... My husband and I stopped here around 1:15 pm on 10/3/2022 for lunch. We walked in and girl sweeping the floor told us we could... sit anywhere we wanted. We choose a booth not far in the vincinity of the kitchen dining area and close to the hostesscheckout. We waited and waited to be acknowledged by a waitress, which never happened. Another couple came in and sat down ata table near our booth. Within seconds someone came over and acknowledge them with service. Then a few minutes later anotherwaitress came over to them to take their order and we still were waiting for someone to come over to our booth. Finally, we gotup and walked out and the waitress even saw us, never asking if something was wrong. How humiliating!!! This was not a busyrush hour lunch crowd and we watched as about 3 or 4 other waitresses just meandered around the kitchen area chatting. ServiceSUCKS! Read more

Visited big boy on my birthday July 23rd at the location at 6 Mile just off 275 in Livonia. The salad bar is running Friday... Saturday and Sundays. Which I got, and was very very good. I ordered the fish and chips, as this is one of my favorite meals,which was also cooked very well. He only reason I gave a four star, was because we sat in the sunroom and the heat was so highthat you just started to sweat while you sat in there. Several people asked for them to turn the air conditioning up, but thatnever happened. Also, at this location they had the little old fashioned car show in the parking lot again like the old days,when Big Boys used to have the old cars coming park in the parking lot for people to see, so I guess they're doing that againthis summer. This location is very nice on the inside, appears to be completely remodeled and looks very very clean. One morething, big boys has a new menu separate from the regular menu, that now makes homemade pizza, I did not try that yet but maybein the future. Read more
Went here for a quick lunch Soup and salad bar was still the breakfast bar at 2:00 PM on a Saturday. Hash browns were burnt... and were not replenished in over 45 minutes. Pancakes were overcooked and dry. The mostaccioli had hard pieces in it likepebbles were in it. I couldn't finish it. When my turkey club sandwich came there were no fries. When I asked about this I wastold I thought you only wanted the sandwich. There is no option on the menu for sandwich only. Why would I order something Ididn't know about?
