After reading all the reviews we were hesitant to go. We have been before years ago and had a decent meal, but it sounds like it... may have changed. We were glad we went. We both had creole catfish. The creole seasoning is definitely worth it - it is notreally hot, but adds a good spice to the batter. The catfish was for sure the "king" of the meal. Plump and juicy, notovercooked or over battered. And piping hot! The fries paled by comparison - luke warm. Service was good but it was not busy ona Monday evening. Salad bar, which came with the meal was also very good. Limited items but what was there was fresh. Lettucewas crisp and cold. You only get ranch or oil/vinegar dressing, but that worked for us. Bean "soup" was average, but nice andhot. Decor is typical "county catfish/BBQ place". We sat in a booth which was clean and in good condition. The chairs at thetables are pretty abused. Read more

Really expected more from this restaurant. We waited to be seated. When we got to our table, I immediately noticed how torn up... the chairs were. My chair had a big hole right in the center of the cushion. We ordered the all you can eat fish & shrimp. Whilewe waited, we were directed to the salad bar. The salad bar looked as if it had not been tended too in a while. Also, therewasn't much to choose from to make your salad. The beans and Cole slaw were also at the salad bar. The beans had been there forsometime as well. The pot was about half full with dry bean all around the inside of the pot. We were brought our plate of fishthat had 3 small pieces of fish and the shrimp were popcorn shrimp. Fish was not seasoned. Waitress was not attentive. Not worththe price. First & last visit here. Had the two year old twins with us. They loved the salad bar, catfish, lemonade, black olives and crayons. They made an... incredible mess at the table but our waitress was extremely understanding. She has an 18 month old sister. They let us sit offto the side so as not to disturb other patrons although baby girl is a huge flirt and kept throwing kisses at everyone. Twinbrother just threw stuff on the floor but we did have a wonderful time! Read more

My daughter and I both ordered off the lunch menu. I had the Catfish Basket, she had the Chicken Tender Basket. Both were good... sized portions. We also got to have items from the Salad bar. My husband ordered a Combo Catfish and Shrimp Basket. We allleft full and weren't even able to eat everything. Staff was friendly and service was great. Hush puppies were the only thingwe didn't care for but otherwise we highly recommend and we'll be back! Read more
