Very rude behavior from staff. Tuesday around 7pm I went to order. Perhaps the woman taking the order was having a bad day or... didn't want to work. Rushing me to order because they close soon she got mad, smashed the food into the plate with his hand, cursed word and yelled at ordering to leave. Please keep an eye on who you hire, people like this are even dangerous for aclient facing job. From some other reviews it seems this place is having some staff issues. Read more

the food is ok but the people that work there are just plain rude and not friendly. 90% of the time i went there the person just... looks at you and doesn't even greet you. then they seem annoyed while you are telling them what toppings you want. and then ofcourse at checkout god forbid they say thank you or have a nice day or anything at all. you would think at the prices they arecharging that they would be friendly and actually want your business. Garbanzo had their opening here in Livingston last week. We have been receiving coupons in the mail, so today I cashed in on... one of the coupons. Amir did a great job preparing 2 scrumptious meals, the shawarma chicken laffa and the lemon chickensalad. We found both meals to be fresh and delicious. We'll definitely be going back! Congratulations on a great start, andgood luck, Garbanzo! Read more

First time here folks??not a great experience. Food was just blah?We had to probe to get answers out of the line staff to... help/direct us to even get our meal completed. And to add to the mix of dry customer service my daughter says kids eat for freeon Sundays which was shown on the monitor. Then, my wife goes to the line staff and says is it true that kids eat for free onSundays. Line manager says yes?I will do it this time like we are bothering them. Sounds to me like the owner needs to teachthese line staff how to be customer friendly or accept going out of business eventually. Read more

How are they still in business? As a Greek person who grew up in Greece I have plenty of experience making and eating authentic... Greek food. I was craving a gyro today so I thought I?d try this place out. This place, by no means sells authentic Greek food. Now I wasn?t expecting an authentic gyro, but just some well cooked food with Greek inspired flavors. There are some MiddleEastern (shwarma spices and falafels are not Greek) and American influences in their menu which is quite typical for Greek foodsold in the US. I bought a grilled chicken gyro with fries. The fries have got to be the most disgusting fries I?ve ever seen. Ihad to wait for them to finish cooking so I was expecting fresh ones but the ones I received looked like they had been friedseveral days ago and refried 2-3 times since then. They were soggy, orange, and honestly looked inedible. I don?t know ifthey?re reusing old fries that they hadn?t sold on prior days and just refrying them again the moment a customer orders them inorder to heat them, but that?s exactly how they looked. I took a picture as soon as I opened the box to include in my review butkeep in mind they actually looked worse than they do in the photo. The gyro was ok and hence the one star. It wasn?t flavorfulbut at least the ingredients looked fresh. The owner should be ashamed of themselves for selling fries like these. It?sinexcusable. Read more

Saw this place come up on Google Maps and was familiar with the chain from The Profit. Decided to try it, got the bowl, the size... is generous and the options for toppings extensive. This is essentially the Chipotle of Greek food, it is a nice fast casualoption for lunch or dinner. Read more

This is a cool concept. You can build your own dish with a variety of ingredients. It is very clean and the staff was very... nice. They have 5-6 vertical rotisserie grills with chicken and your typical gyro meat blend. I thought the pita was a littledry and the meat was pre shaved and put on a steam table which always dries it out. I plan on going back and asking for meatshaved to order. Otherwise, it is definitely a good fast casual spot that you should try if you like Greek style food. Theparking situation is not that great at lunch time. Just a heads up. Read more
