I love Barnes and noble, I don't think I have ever walked out without finding something rather it was a book of sorts or a... record, I always end up finding something I wanted. Their Starbucks located inside the store has always been nice too. For itnot being a franchise location they have a lot of good options so it's nice to be able to grab a coffee and book in one go.Employees have always been super helpful in looking for titles for books that I either wasn't able to find on my own or happy tohelp with ordering them for me if they didn't carry something. I had also signed up for their membership and it had a lot ofperks when using it frequently. Read more
MY daughter is a huge anime fan. We went to Barnes and Noble so she could use some of her birthday money to buy some Manga... books. I figured I would buy myself a few books as well but wasn't sure where to look. I asked for help and encountered anassociate with a wealth of knowledge who pointed me to some excellent books. I ended up buying three. I know buying actual booksis becoming an antiquated notion but I'm old school and still appreciate holding a good hard copy book in my hands. Barnes and noble, honestly it's a big national book chain and you know what to expect. That said they do have great service.... The people are generally pretty helpful and even when staffing is hard to find between the website and the good organization ofthe books almost everything is easy to find and accessible. Wonderful place to shop and get your hands on some actual books...or to pick up a book and sit with your coffee for a bit. Read more
I understand why people buy from Amazon. There is no rhyme or reason to the placement of books in this store. There is no Best... Seller rack so you can go right to the good reads. Not even a list of the best sellers. I asked at the desk for two books,didn?t have them. When asked at the check out if I was able to find everything ok, I said no. No response, except to ask me if Iwanted to buy a bag for five cents. Nope. Amazon from now on. Read more

Lots to go through at this Barnes and Noble in Clay, NY. I can never leave a bookstore on my own will...someone has to drag me... out and I'd still go begrudgingly. This Barnes and Noble had a lot in each section from games and calenders to of course theobvious, books! Books on travel, history, politics, art, biographies and more. The café and children's section is really comfytoo. Have fun. Enjoy! Don't let anyone drag you out, unless, of course, the store's closing for the day. Read more
