Such a great culinary experience. When ever I'm remotely close by, I make a point to dine at OvAsians. I've probably had all of... their offerings, but I love the vermicelli bowl and my wife loves the lemongrass chicken. My picky kids devour the garlicnoodles without hesitation. I work nearby and a coworker came in with an amazing looking boba tea, so naturally I had to Investigate. On my break I decided... to head over and grab lunch. OMG the flavors here are fire. Had the brown sugar boba tea (fresh boba and it shows) best I'veever had! For food, I ordered a nr 34 (grilled chicken combo plate) Comes with a fried egg to top off the rice and a killersalad. Amazing all around! Will def be back. Nothing notable has been in that shopping center in over a decade. Not sure thereever was actually lol. Curious as to how long they have been around. The decor was quite interesting and modern and the place clean. The ordering process was easy, and the offerings were good in... terms of variety. The spring rolls are excellent, and my praise goes especially to the green apple shrimp salad. High qualityfor the right price, though I would suggest adding some sriracha to add spice to it. The lemonade also needs a little morecarbonation. Overall, though, highly recommended. Read more
This review is exclusively about the boba at this location. I've ordered it twice and I was so impressed that I had to leave a... review. My Expectations: If I'm being honest, I wasn't expecting much for a place that boba appears to be only a side itemamongst several in an extensive menu. I was actually apprehensive because of the claims of quality ingredients, like organicmilk. Since most out-of-the-way spots like this tend to skimp on the ingredients to reduce overhead and maximize the margins dueto scarce customers. I had a bad experience in the same plaza at the fish market when I bought a whole order of sturgeon andcatfish that I had to throw away because it had gone bad by the time I made it home. I was happy to say that I was deadwrong! My Experience: Both times I came, there were several customers enjoying their food, hinting at this place being an outof the way gem as opposed to a risky experience. I ordered the brown sugar boba, a favorite of mine, and definitely a hit ormiss item. This time it was an absolute hit. The organic milk was delicious and easier on my stomach, and I had a very pleasantride home enjoying my drink. I was so impressed that had I not been driving, I would have probably left a review even though itwas based off one experience. My second experience was equally inspiring when I ordered my strawberry kiwi smoothie. Everythingfrom the consistency to each flavor filled sip was just how I wished it would be. I can confidently say this place is worthcoming to just for the boba. I couldn't even wait to reach home and began to dictate this review to my phone as I drove. Sorrynot sorry. This is my favorite restaurant in Livermore. They are understaffed as many establishments are in the Bay area, but they are... always attentive and kind. The food is delicious. I've had so many different items on the menu including beef short ribs, springrolls, fried chicken wings, hot clay pot, and lemongrass chicken. You can't go wrong here! Read more
We were actually going to order for two. But after seeing the menu and the prizes all four of us decided to eat here. Extremely... friendly, nice, helpful people work here. The food we order was very delicious too. I do not know their names, see the pictures.I tested all of them and recommend all of them. Favorite ones were the beef short ribs and the salad. Especially the salad wasvery refreshing, fresh ingredients. I highly, yes highly recommend this place. Read more
Staff is extremely kind and welcoming. Food comes out crazy fast! Really delicious! Will definitely be coming back.
