They have the best brunch! The food was excellent, comforting and plenty. They have unlimited mimosas (within 2hour frame) and... our waitress was fantastic, great vibe. Kid friendly. Dog friendly Read more

Monica’s was worth the wait!!! My sister, baby and I went to Monica’s on a Saturday afternoon. We had to wait 45 minutes but... was able to kill time by walking around to different stores. Once we were seated outside — which is the best seating. Theoutside is completely covered with shading and it’s cool; despite the heat!! It didn’t take long for PEPE(????????????????) to greet us and take our order. PEPE was knowledgeable about the entire menu. We ordered a flight of Mimosa;which includes 6 juices and a bottle of champagne. Two people can share the juices and bottle. For food we ordered: Biscuits &Gravy which was awesome and tasty. The biscuits & gravy practically melts in your mouth. Every bite is full of flavor. The baconand sausage grease used to make the gravy is filled with LOVE!! Belgian waffle was made just right and thick in all the rightplaces. It’s great with or without syrup. Big Shrimp Omelette with Avocado, shrimp, cheese and veggies with some seasonedpotatoes. I asked who’s Monica and where is Monica. The lovely bartender replied, “we’re all Monica” smiling!!! ThanksPepe and Monica for a fun, tasty and wonderful experience. I will be returning. Read more

We ordered French Toast and ground beef steak as the picture shown. I was kinda disappointed as the rating of this restaurant is... quite high both in google and yelp. Ground Beef Steak: it was fine, I think it is the best of all we ordered. Medium cooked asI requested, not much seasoning but the taste is good. Hash brown: I'm sure I can't tell what is in my month if I closed myeye. Toast: not much butter, actually nearly can't see. not crispy of course. one of the worst toast ever. Scrambled egg:overcooked, I finished it just with the aim of not wasting food. French toast: bread was not freash, butter had no taste. Ham:normal~ Over-easy egg: normal~ Last, the Cappucinno: look nice, taste... really bad. I thought I was drinking a cup of milk.(I'm not asking for a 1:1 espresso and steamed milk original Italian style, I kinda accept American style which might be milderespresso and richer taste. But definitely not a cup of milk ????) Overall, staffs are nice, the vibe is warm and friendly. Ienjoyed the sunshine and the lively atmosphere, not the food. btw, it was kinda crowded. There may be something tasty that Ididn't try. I might have to try the waffles next time. Read more

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. We went on a Saturday morning and waited roughly 30 minutes for our table, which was... easily spent wandering the rest of Livermore's downtown area. I got the Huevos Rancheros and my wife got The Tom (Omelette withTurkey). Do not skip the toast with homemade jam, I ordered it on the side since it didn't come with my meal and I repeatedthis order when we went back two days later and I ordered the eggs benedict on a croissant. We simply couldn't stay aware fromthe great food and welcoming staff! Read more

This is one of my go to spots for brunch/lunch. If you come here on a weekend, prepare for it to be busy! I always put my name... in since their text system works great and then go walk around downtown a little bit. Parking: Street, plenty of parking, mayneed to park a block or two away, but you'll need the walk for all the calories anyway! Service: alwaysfriendly Food: BOTTOMLESS mimosas! yup! my fav is w/the guava. Western Burger: Got this many times, sauce on side for me.Medium rare. Last time I had it it was overcooked which didn't make me happy but I ate it anyway. Chilaquiles: green sauce andchorizo was a perfect combo! Buttermilk pancakes: I rarely crave these, but at Monica's perfect balance of salty sweet so ifsomeone wants to share, I'm always down to get these. Benedicts: never had problems with these. One time though my friend endedup with a cooked egg, but the staff happily remade it for her. Thanks for an amazing experience always! Read more

Great service and delicious food! Went here with my sisters for brunch and we all loved the experience. Staff was accommodating... and just the right amount of attentive. We got the biscuits (with a side of gravy), berry French toast, California Benedict, andbacon waffle. Honestly, I would get all of them again! Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area (or if you’re not)! Read more

Comfortable outdoor dining, tasty food, outstanding customer service. The eggs were genuinely fresh and tasty with rich orange... yolks and unusually good flavor. The linguica was lean and well-seasoned. The biscuits and gravy were almost as good as mygrandmother-in-law used to make, and much better than normal restaurant fare. Pecan sticky roll made for a decadent table share.I was driving so I didn't get to try the bottomless mimosas, but they looked lovely. As good as the food was, the customerservice was even better. We were well taken care of and a waiter even jogged down the street to return a forgotten item tous. If you're from out of town, you should know that Monica's is close to miles and miles of the prettiest trails in CentralCalifornia, so you can plan for an indulgent breakfast and then walk it off.
