Took my dad here for his first time and was highly disappointed. I used to love coming here but after this last visit, I will... not return. The staff seemed nice however, they need some more training on how to make the ?creations?. 3 of the 5 orders weremessed up and made incorrectly. I had huge blocks of cookie dough I could barely chew it, my son barely had any sprinkles in hisice cream, my dad was missing brownies and my brother literally had 1 piece of cookie dough in his love it. The staff is so professional even though they may be young. They always greet you with a smile and the ice cream is always... fresh. This establishment is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend this place for ice cream with the family over allothers. Keep it up! Read more

Waited patiently in line because I can tell they were short handed. When it was finally my turn I was accidentally skipped which... I didn?t make a big deal out of and just raised my hand, but apparently the worker decided to catch a small attitude with me. Iusually tip 20% or more but decided $1 was worth the service I received and thank goodness because the service I saw she give tothe people after me was with a smile and a thanks. So I guess it was just isolated to me. Read more

The owner, Dave, of this location is an extremely kind and genuine human being. We had an issue with an order I placed and Dave... took the time to acknowledge the mistake and call me to apologize and amend the wrong. Cold Stone is very lucky to have him be apart of their franchise Read more

Ice cream was great- just like Cold Stone! However, we were less than impressed by the service? While there were only 3 people... in front of us, it took a while for us to be served. The one young man seemed to be new which is totally fine! But he asked formy order several times, barely even mixing in my toppings and leaving a fourth of it, including half the brownie, on the counterand not putting it in my bowl. This is not merely to bash, but hopefully give some insight for improvement. Read more

When I arrived the place was packed with people waiting on Ice cream, when my time came up I was informed they were out of... brownies and i needed to order something diffrent. The service was slow and the prepay for ice cream slows the service down thatmuch more, i.e. one employee running back and forth to cash register instead of helping people. Been to Cold Stones all over theUS and this is the only one that has ever required me to prepay and it is the slowest I have even been to. When I finallyrecived my ice cream it there was a large scoop of plain strawberry ice cream on top with no mix ins like they miss judged thesize and just said forgot it ill just dollop something on top. No wonder why there are so few Cold Stones in San Antonio if thisis the service they receive down here. Read more

Stopped by after having a sweet tooth during the week. It was during the week on a chilly night, so there was only 2 other... parties there. There were 3 workers, so they were able to make the orders quickly. I always pick my own flavors and mixings, but they consistently make it the same. They usually pack in the ice cream and mixings. Overall, good ice cream with fastservice. Read more

I came in and just wanted a cookie dough icecream. More people were coming in and someone came out to help out with the line... great. So I asked for no extra sugar crystals in the icecream because there?s some combination that?s preorder that has that. SoI ask please no extra sugar crystals. Ok yes alright. Watched him make it since it is open and saw he went right for the sugarand sprinkled it on. I know icecream has sugar and cookie dough has sugar which is why I didn?t want the extra sugar so I askedif he put the sugar on it because I could be wrong and it?s another ingredient. He said it was and to please have one withoutsince I asked a few times. He then made another one and quickly threw it together with a little cookie dough all to one side andmore icecream than cookie dough. It?s like I ordered vanilla icecream with some cookie dough on top, anyone that loves cookiedough can understand the difference. And I had to ask for napkins since some of it was dripping off the cup. Not returning hereagain to this location. I like the icecream but not here because I couldn?t even get what I wanted and not even with goodservice either???? Read more
