Clean place. Very friendly service. Lanita is the best!! She remembered us from the first visit to the second visit. I would... literally go now to see her. She?s the sweetest. I?m not sure if it?s her job description but if it isn?t she deserves all theraises. She is very knowledgeable of the menu and is very attentive. She made sure everything we wanted and needed was there. She kept the place super clean. On our second visit a man was being very rude to her and she handled it with so much grace anddignity. The food was amazing and fresh! Great portions! Read more

I have been a huge fan of Burger Boy for more than 40 years. I was always grateful that the original location on N.Saint Mary's... remained open and continued to thrive for all these years. I was especially happy to see so many new locations opening theselast few years. This was my first visit to a new Burger Boy. I stopped for dinner across the street to a sandwich restaurant andhad been increasingly disappointed in the restaurant due to many things. When I went today, I did an about face because therewere so many dirty tables and the restaurant wasn't busy. I hadn't visited Burger Boy because it's usually incredibly busy, withgood reason. I looked across the street and saw there wasn't too long of a line of cars, so I decided to dine in. I was morethan pleasantly surprised. I was greeted with the best smile and personable lady... Lanita. She made me feel welcome andaccurately took my order. The store kept to it's original theme, with some modern architecture and decor, with bright orange andblue colors and signature barstools facing large, clean windows. I appreciated the nod to San Antonio and Texas in general withthe symbols above the ordering area. I will definitely continue to be a patron of Burger Boy!! Read more

Heard a lot about this hamburger joint. Newest location in Universal City is where I went on a Saturday night right around 6pm.... It was about as crowded as I would have expected for Saturday night at dinner time. The drive-thru is jam-packed with lots ofcars waiting to go through. Not a very large place. Maybe 10 tables up front and maybe another six or seven in the back. Theyalso have small little stools with a table top around the circumference of one side of the building. Once I place my order andset down it was about a 20 minute wait for my food. Again not too bad for a busy Saturday night. I got the working Man which isbasically a double meat Burger I added cheese came with a large fry and a large drink. The french fries are crinkle fries whichalways taste good no matter who makes them. I wished every place served crinkle fries. The burger was kind of smashed down itdidn't really resemble the size of what a double meat double cheeseburger should look like. Also kind of greasy on top of thebun. Overall The taste was good it was kind of what I expected from a double meat double cheeseburger. there's a lot ofexcitement in San Antonio as they can continue to expand. I guess I would say I recommend that you try it. If I'm in the areaand it's right there I'll stop. But not making a special trip just to go to this chain. It was one of those places where it'snot bad but it's not awesome but I enjoyed my meal and I think you will too. Read more
