The Dixie Grill has some of the most deliciously eclictic menu items I've run across (Seriously...I've traveled & eaten all... across America and in very diverse restaurants from greasy spoon diners & blue plate special restaurants to $200 a plateexclusive restaurants.) that are mixed into a typical southern styl restaurant menu. From Biscuits and Gravy & ham & eggs totheir amazing "The Fletch" & the "What the French Toast".... it ALL really good with much of it elevating to incrediblydelicious. Read more

The waitress wasn't friendly and I ordered eggs over medium and said I wanted the yellow runny, the eggs were fried so hard I... couldn't cut them with a fork or a knife and could barely chew them and the yellow was hard. The grits were runny. No butter forthe grits or biscuits. The meat had a weird taste and not edible. Tea is hard to mess up but their tea sucked and had an aftertaste that was unpalatable so I stopped the waitress to ask for coffee and she acted like I wasn't supposed to talk to her, Iasked for coffee and it was barely warm. My husband and I were ready to leave and he asked for the ticket and the waitressdecided she would stop at every table to visit before getting the ticket and bringing it back. This was our first time here andwon't be going back. Read more

The Dixie Grill is a local tradition for great southrn eats. Not the healthiest, but very tasty and nostalgic of places visited... when I was growing up in Southern Virginia. The prices are great, the staff is great, service is fantastic. If you visit theDixie Grill on a Sunday morning, beat the church lunch rush and arrive around 10am. Enjoy your meals! Read more

Enormous portions and some great combinations of food. I had the Yard Bird and it was great! The grits could use some butter and... salt though. The grilled chicken and panko breaded chicken were delicious as well. Nothing too fancy but solid southern fare. Read more

This is a cool little spot I stopped at for breakfast. I?m never up for breakfast, but today I was and decided to venture to a... new place. The service was good, they kept my coffee full, and the food was awesome too. I got the steak and eggs and my steakwas cooked perfectly, and so were my eggs. The hash browns also came out just like I asked. (Extra crispy with cheese andmushrooms). If you?re in the area, eat here. If you?re a local and haven?t ate here, the question is why. Read more
