Maybe a little understaffed but still able to have great service. All employees were working together to give customers a good... meal. Went again for breakfast and saw that they had a crew of people carrying out boxes of pies and found out that they weretaking them for ReMax Reality customers! My first and my last experience at a Village-Inn ever - how this place has 4.1 stars is mind blowing. If you don't mind watching... your loved ones grow old right in front of your eyes as you wait and have staff eat some of your food before it shows on yourtable - go here!! Came in for brunch with only a couple of groups ahead of us and a bunch of empty tables - we thought great,we should be sitting in no time! Wrong!! Took us about 45 min to be seated, our kiddo needed a snack to hold her over while wewaited, unlike her, I didn't have a snack to hold me over. Next, we sat down and ordered our food fairly quickly - we thought"well, fine, they were slow to seat us but I'm sure everything will go smoothly from here" wrong again!! unfortunately, we wereseated with a partial view of the kitchen, my wife told me after we left that she noticed a staff members picking and eatingfood off paying customers plates and then serving the remainder which she witnessed was served to the table beside us - wifeonly told me this after as she knew I'd make a deal about this and she didn't think any of our food was touched... I'm not sosure. Our food itself took another 45min to arrive, reason used was that the cooked got overwhelmed. My sourdough toast neverarrived, even after our server promised it was in the toaster. In hindsight she probably ate it. Took us another 20 min of idlesitting to get our ticket to get out of there. My wife and I joked that we saw a lot of young people come in and a lot ofelderly people leaving, it just takes that long. Read more
I had a craving for a skillet this morning after not eating here for many years. Seemingly the only gal working (regan) was a... huge ray of sunshine and the meal was great. I'll be doing this more often. Read more
Breakfast was good, my wives food wasn't all that hot and neither was mine. But the pancakes were hot. And the do have the best... pancakes. Will be back. Read more
if i could give this place 0 stars, i would. servers and hosts were rude beyond belief. everyone there was so disrespectful and... mean. i used to be sad they closed some locations but now i’m thankful that they did. i strongly believe that this one shouldbe too. it smelled like smoke and weed as soon as you walked in. it was hot and had no ac. servers and hosts were cussing soloud and just treating my group with excess amount of disrespect. this place was so awful and i had to walk out. would notrecommend!! Waited for 20 minutes for a table when there were well over 10 seating options available. The food came out very quickly but it... was not good. They also tried to charge me for my daughters meal even though kids eat free on Tuesdays. I mentioned it afterseeing the price on the receipt and the waiter said he normally just deducts the price at checkout, which I did not believe.Will not be returning. Read more
Attempted to go here today. Walked up to put my name in and the man taking names had a horrible attitude and seemed... irritatedthat people were trying to come and eat. Then a waitress walked up as were standing waiting to be seated and saidsomething along the lines of everyone here being pieces of s**t. Needless to say we left immediately.
