Prices increased so the poor quality just isn't worth it. Queso was truly disgusting. Looks and tastes like milk with chilis... stirred in. With a layer of orange grease on top. Read more

Mi Cochina Express is ok and has room for improvement. Small compact menu which is good. I ordered a #14 combination with beef... taco, beef enchilada and beef burrito and the Chile fries for a starter. There isn?t any seasoning to the ground beef, couldadd more but not so much that it over powers the green Chile. The hot green Chile is standard, nothing amazing and it?ssmothered on the burrito but it?s really runny like water and ran off the burrito, and even as it cooled it still didn?t thickenthat much. The red enchilada sauce lacked in flavor and was runny compared to a place like Tamale Kitchen and other places. Thetaco was good, but didn?t come with salsa or sauce in the side so I had to use salsa that came with the chips. The green Chilefries were ok l, fries were cooked good but it could have better had the green Chile NOT been so runny and ran off the fries. All that no soda for for $31 (with tip). Service was good. I?m sorry but it?s over priced and I?m not sure how people give 5stars when there isn?t a real differentiator against a lot of other Mexican restaurants. Read more

My wife and I have lunch here a few days each month. The food and service are excellent! The owner is always appreciative and... so kind to all customers. They recently updated the dining room; it is nicely done and comfortable. We both love the crispychili rellenos, very nice sauce and so tasty. All the food we have tried is excellent, even the tacos are better than anyothers we have had in Denver. My wife loves the guacamole tostados, the guacamole is always fresh and wonderful. Highlyrecommend for fresh delicious Mexican food and the prices are very reasonable. Read more

$4 for the littlest and lamest breakfast burrito in the front range. Barely any eggs and almost no meat. This restaurant used to... have good prices for their okay food but now that it?s $4 for a $1.50 burrito..I recommend stopping anywhere else. Especially ifyou?re hungry because you?ll need eight of those baby burritos to fill up. Read more

100% absolutely recommend!! We placed an order of 150 of their delicious breakfast burritos for a school staff appreciation... event, and Mi Cocina did an amazing job! Ordering over the phone was easy, John was super friendly and accommodating, as some ofthe staff have differing dietary needs. When we went to pick the burritos up, they were ready to go at the promised time, and inlabeled bags (mild, medium, hot, no cheese, gluten free bowls, etc.) so we did not have to sift through and mark them, making itSO easy on our end. Thank you for helping us make our event successful and seamless!! Read more

I love this restaurant. I have been a faithful lunch patron for 3 years now. The food is wonderful. I mostly come because of the... $8.50 lunch special. They have lots of options on that special so I never get bored with the food. I have been singing theirpraises for years but today it stops. The price of lunch went up to $11 The food is good for $8.50 but not good enough for $11.This makes me sad and now I?m on the hunt for a new lunch spot. So long mi amigo?s. Read more
