Attempted to give this “fine dining” restaurant one last try. I regret it. It’s awful. Food is low quality, service is... awful. I gave it two stars because you can ALWAYS get a seat here! It’s literally always empty… because it’s gross. Savethe time and go to oyster bar or anywhere else. I do not see this place staying open much longer. Read more
Everything my fiancé and I ordered on our date was delicious. That included a bread/cheese platter appetizer that lasted a long... time even with constant picking from the both of us (but mostly me). I also had the beer-cheddar soup to start, and it beats anyother restaurant's soup I've had. I'm always on the hunt for good soup, and this one hit the spot like no other. We bothordered filet mignon, and it was everything we hoped for. I ordered medium rare, and it melted in my mouth just like it should.Even though we were both stuffed full, we had the bananas foster for dessert. This was the first time that dessert was thehighlight of a dinner for me. The restaurant's chef and owner prepared it right beside our table and told us of some of hisexperience with this dessert and its history. It was heavenly. We never would've expected such a delicacy from the combinationof ingredients that we saw laid out, but we were proven wrong. Absolutely delicious. My only gripe of this restaurant is theprice. Yes, the food is incredible, but the prices on the menu were different than the ones I saw online on facebook andelsewhere. Still, the food is too good to leave this restaurant at 4 stars! Read more
They were short handed on Mother'd Day. Waiter was very nice and worked hard to make us happy, but probably overworked due to... the staffing issue. I think he is normally a bartender. Food was OK not great for the price paid - Steak was a little bland.There were other discrepancies that we can overlook given the staffing issue, but now reviewing my Credit card statement, I wascharged 2x. Update: Vendor resolved the double charge issue so raised review from 2 to 4. Will consider trying again in thefuture. Read more
Had a great meal with friends. Good was great, wine was good and service was outstanding. Our server didn't like how two of our... filets turned out, she had the chef refire them and gave us the slightly over cook steak too. Read more
Fantastic experience. The tables overlooking the garden next door was the staple of the french dining ambiance. We ordered the... Treen of Life (Cauliflower Steak), the chicken, the salmon, and the steak. All were perfectly prepared and presented. The sideswere as equally delicious and perfectly plated. The deconstructed chocolate desert lived up to its decadent description, and thedrinks, and service was top notch! Read more
Wow! I loved So Restaurant. The food and service we're amazing. Our waiter was on point and very friendly and knowledgeable.... The wine list was very extensive and had a great selections to choose from. I loved our food and appetizer. I definitelyrecommend this place and I'm definitely coming back. Thank you very much. In May we had a company function here with around thirty people and the food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was nice... in the back upstairs group room. Very accommodating area for a large group. The servers worked very hard with all the food anddrink orders. The desert were delicious and we cannot day enough good things about this service oriented restaurant! Read more
Nice atmosphere, attentive service & food that was out of this world, what more could you ask for?! My husband is a food... reviewer, we’ve eaten at some of the best restaurants around the world and I’m not joking when I say the bone marrow smallplate with strawberry jam here is one of the best things we’ve ever eaten.
