This was my first visit to Slim Chickens, and was pleasantly surprised at the menu offerings. The prices are reasonable and the... quantity of servings quite large. Absolutely the slowest fast food place in little rock. The staff is completely unfriendly. I could see a worker's underwear... through the drive-thru window while I was waiting on my food. Got part of our order and she said have a good night and I askedfor macaroni and cheese that we paid for and she said "oh I forgot" that's going to be a few minutes. We waited 15 minutes for amacaroni and cheese meanwhile all our other food is now cold. This is the absolute last time I will ever visit any slimchickens. Worst location in Little Rock. I go here to get my wife a salad that works at the nearby hospital. Every time I go it?s a... problem. Me being understanding of what people go though that work in fast food I don?t say anything. This time I can not keepquiet. When I went I asked for the side salad. The staff gave me the wrong salad. So I don?t say anything. I pay for it. When Ipull up to the window, they proceed to give me my order. I asked for a sack. They informed me that they don?t have any sacks. Iwas like ok cool. Then they handed me my food the container was greasy. I was like ok cool. I drop the food off to my wife.Later on that night she sent me a picture with a fly in her food. I've been here twice now. The first time was for their chicken sandwich, which was pretty good. Not quite as tasty as Popeye's... but an adequate alternative. Today I had their 3 and 3 meal, which is 3 tenders, 3 wings, Texas toast, fries and drink. Thetoast was really good but the fries, just ok. The wings were cooked well but I wasn't fond of the Korean bbq sauce on them. Nexttime I'll try a different sauce. The tenders were excellent. They were served up hot and fresh and well seasoned. They don'thave the crunch of other places but the flavor's on point. When coupled with the country gravy as a sauce option they deliver avery tasty meal. This will definitely be a frequent chicken tender destination for me. Read more
I?m not a biggest fan of slim chickens, but this location is the best one in LR from my experience. The customer service in the... drive thru was very friendly and pleasant. The potato salad is ranch based l, which automatically elevated the score. ???????? Not a fan of the gravy dip, but the cayenne ranch was good. Tenders were crispy and juicy, I feel all in all I got mymoneys worth. So I would come back again, and I shall. Read more
I like the jive at this location. I live in Houston Texas and had to come up to Little Rock for some business. I stopped in here... for lunch before heading back. I'm not of how long this location has existed but I really like the atmosphere here. The buildinglooks loved and lived in. Some might say "rustic". The ones in Houston are still pretty new but they're all too straight andboring. I'm a believer in an opinion that if the place has character then the food is going to be good. If the place is straightand boring then you can probably pass on the food. That line of thought has served me well. This place is one of the good ones. Read more
