Be prepared to wait if you visit here at certain times whether you go inside or go thru the drive thru! I purchased chocolate... glazed donuts for my kids and to my surprise there were a few glazed donut holes in the box for me to sample. While my kidsdidn't really care for the chocolate glazed donuts, the donut holes were fresh and very tasty!!! Will have to go back and havethem try the donut holes and see if they will like those over the chocolate glazed ones.... Read more
I love this place the do-nuts are always fresh.
When I asked for FRESH HOT donuts, implied I can wait on them untill ready. I got HOT microwaved instead. Moist, wet and soggy.... $33 worth after being told differently. I worked at Donut shop for 2 years. I KNOW. Read more
The kolaches weren't hot and the donuts were kind of dry but good service...
This place has never disappointed. I usually get my breakfast here. This time I needed a big order 180 donuts and 150... Kolaches....by 5:30AM!!! Well not only did they have it ready but they were so happy to help. I love these people at thislocation they are so kind and appreciate all their customers. They even gave me some free donut holes!! I?ve been coming to this Shipley?s on Geyer Springs for around 15 yrs. The food is good & the ladies are sweet they remember the... regular customers & the tip jar on the counter is a testament to their people skills. The downside to this location is the waittime, don?t think that you?ll roll up grab you some breakfast & be back out on your way to work or home, it will take around 20minutes at least & THATS if it?s still early like before 6am. This place wakes up with the city & oh boy everybody comes here &you will be waiting for a hot minute. The location on University always moves alot faster I?m not sure why. But overall I keepcoming back I just dread the ridiculous waiting time. Read more
Shipley's is the neighborhood donut shop. The one and only place I get my donuts. #1 donut place in America if you ask me!!!
