We had reservations for 7, and we were seated immediately upon arrival at 6:30pm on a Friday. The server was courteous and... generally helpful, but our glasses went dry a few times. The food all tasted good and was cooked properly. One cup of soup, three adult entrees, one appetizer, and four waters = $74 before tip. Read more

The food was great, the waiter was attentive. I ordered the filet with Brussel sprouts and soup of the day (loaded potato). ... The steak was cooked to perfection (LOTS of garlic, which I'm okay with but be prepared for if you're not) the Brussels we'reglazed with a sweet sauce which took me by surprise I thoroughly enjoyed them though. And I was very grateful my friend orderedthe queso, it was AMAZING. Highly recommend! Read more

Where's the crab meat. Crab cakes means crab meat in the cakes, not majority of breading. Look at the crab cakes, how you serve... a customer burned crab cakes. Lastly, I know of places that mix crab meat with another meat to save money. I was ready to pay100 percent for authentic crab meat. I was just pasing thru and ate here based on my houston texas salt grass experience. Butyou all be the judge of the crab cakes. I still tip the waitress...!!! I thought presentation mattered!!! Our first time eating here tonight. The wrangler rattlers, and fried mushrooms were really good. I had the blackened redfish... with the smoked mac and cheese, and side caesar salad. The redfish came with a creamy sauce on top that had crawfish in it. Igot 2 crawfish tails, and 2 medium sized grilled shrimp. 2 crawfish tails? $26. Insane. I highly doubt my husband and I willreturn here. They weren't that busy and we got there at 8:30, and left right before 10. Insane. Read more

I visited Saltgrass on 12/04/2021. The service was above average, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food did not have that... WOW! factor that make you want to come back again. I had the Range rattlers for an appetizer, which were not as favorable as Iimagined. The jalapeno pepper tasted green, the shrimp was cooked to perfection golden perfection, and the jack cheese did notadd that extra layer of flavor. This dish is served with fried onions that were golden and delicious tasted homemade to me. With that being said the portion size was fulfilling. I did not think the ranch dressing complimented this dish. The sidedishes, loaded mash potatoes, baked sweet potato, asparagus, and broccoli. The side were the standard serving size all wereaverage in taste except for the asparagus it was seasoned very well and tender. The star of this meal was a 22oz porterhousesteak. I ordered it medium well. I think it was a difference of opinion what medium well is between me and the chef. However, this steak was very pleasing to my palate and extremely tender. The dessert was a carrot cake, warning one slice is largeenough for two or three diners to enjoy. Too much sugar for one man. Overall, my main issue was the value of this meal exceededthe quality of the whole meal. It wasn't bad and I didn't have to send anything back to the kitchen. I just didn't get thatWOW factor from this meal. I'm not saying I will not dine at Saltgrass again; it just will not be in the near future. Read more
