Absolutely the best fried chicken! Everything else was pretty standard. The manager or lead there was absolutely amazing and... helped lots of tables in 1/2 the time of 2-3 servers combined. They may just be new or need training, but I had to ask foreverything multiple times from straws, tickets, to go boxes, and refills. With the delays it was almost an hour before we hadour food at the table and it was a Wednesday with barely half full capacity. Read more

An absolute MUST go if you're in or around Little Rock! This fried chicken is absolutely out of control wonderful! The chicken... is light, seasoned extremely well, fresh, juicy, tender, and not overly greasy. Sides are decent, with the exception of the macand cheese (which struck me as deluxe boxed). I don't just give away 5 star ratings. Gus's World Famous Chicken earned it! They checked off everything I look for. They were... polite, attentive to our needs, kept our drinks full, food was hot, fresh, delicious, and flavorful! The bathroom was clean andthe waitress made awesome, and honest recommendations. Hard to beat this place! Awesome atmosphere. Amazing service. (Sunny was so nice!!) Everything tastes so fresh and perfectly... fried. The chicken has a spice level that is just right. It keeps you sipping on your sweet tea and following each bite with ascoop of cold cole slaw. Awesome fried green tomatoes and okra! Love having this Memphis classic right here in Little Rock. Food was good, but service was terrible. No manager on site, so crew was running one server to death while several of them did... nothing. Cooks having to recook food bc it got cold waiting to be picked up. We waited over 20 minutes just to be greateddespite there being several severs. 30 mins wait for food once we finally ordered. Some food was missing and one plate waswrong. Wasn't the worst experience, but wasn't a very good one either. Read more

Gus?s World Famous Fried Chicken is located in downtown Little Rock, AR. They serve one type of seasoned chicken with a choice... of several sides. I tried the two pieces of chicken with beans and potato salad. The chicken is a little spicy by design, so Idid not add any hot sauce. The chicken was fresh out of the grease delicious. Try the homemade pies for dessert if you havethe room. The coconut pie was a little sweet, but it still tasted good. Read more
