Reviews for Dizzy's Gypsy Bistro in Little Rock, AK
Was at Dizzys the other day for brunch. Must have spent 5 mins trying to figure out what I wanted and finally gave up and... ordered the cheeseburger with swiss. OMG, it was one of the best burgers I've had. It was super thick but perfectly cooked, the topping were perfect and the bun was thick, but not too thick. I had to cut it in two, and ate the other half that evening. Too many places try to make "gourmet" burgers with overly thick buns but this one was on par. My only ding was the bloody maryI ordered. I can't drink very spicy drinks and of course the waiter said it wasn't spicy....well, it was spicy although ittasted great I had to just let it sit. So, overall I heartily recommend all the food at Dizzy's but especially the hamburger. Read more
We were just walking by and the outside sign advertising $15 mimosa buckets drew us in. So glad we did! Love the atmosphere... and vibe of this place. So much color and art everywhere. Good quality prosecco for the bucket. We shared an order of migas, andthey were good..but dear god, their cheese dip (queso to us Texans) made it amazing!! We ordered more and loved it. Do yourselfa favor and get the cheese dip on everything you order!!! They have won cheese dip competitions multiple years in a row and itis obvious why. Our bartenders were also top notch! Read more
The atmosphere of Dizzy's is great. The service was fantastic. The manager listed everything that could be made gluten free for... my friend. Also, the blueberry margarita is delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it. My daughter ate and entire 8oz filet and itwas cooked perfectly medium. I would definitely eat here again if I'm ever in downtown Little Rock. Read more
This place was super cute and the food was great. We sat outside. Service was a little slow and some items on the menu are a... little pricey. The Clubs are awesome and a great price, though! We ordered both desserts as well to try and they were both supergood. Will for sure be back. Read more
Giving my take on the Insalata Caprese..... very well matched dressing with the greens, poultry and cheeses. The hint of mint... leaves was slightly odd at first but overall blended well with roma tomatoes on the Insalata. Nice venue with outdoor streetside dining. A good choice to pass the time with good friends over a glass of wine. Read more
I may have just had an off experience. The pros included the eclectic decor and the staff was friendly and helpful. Sadly, that... was not enough to overcome the rest of my experience. Starting with cocktails, I was not a fan of either one that I tried. Theywere underwhelming and pricy. The food I had also was just decent. Not terrible but not memorable in any way either. Probably, the most bland Reuben I?ve had, I?m not a fan of that horseradish mayo that was on it. It wasn?t very flavorful and tastedbland. Russian dressing is my preference always on a Reuben. The Amy?s turkey pesto sandwich faired a bit better, but thefries were mediocre so I?d recommend a different side. I think you could have a better evening and pay less somewhere else.Personally, if in the area, I?d go elsewhere with all the options. But maybe I?ll try again in the future for a betterexperience. Slightly extensive wait; great food worth the wait: Although it took the wait staff quite some time for them to get to us (some... tables appeared to be available; it took ten minutes to get our drink orders to us), once our orders got to us, everythingbecame a lot better. I had the Gypsy Burger, which I photographed. They didn't ask for my temperature preference, but it wasvery good. The fries were okay. The dessert we had, slice of wedding cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, was also very good. Read more
