If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food this place is not it. Which is understandable with a chain restaurant. My main... focal point for this place were the drinks. Very big selection of margaritas and mixed drinks. The service was slow which wassurprising for the amount of servers they had when I walked in at 3:45 pm (I counted 7 servers 1 hosted 1 manager and 2-3bartenders actively interacting with the patrons.) our drinks came out wrong twice and the amount of time it took just to orderwas ridiculous. I was still hopeful that maybe it took so long because the plates were being made fresh or from scratch but wasdisappointed when food actually arrived. The cheese dip tasted like Kraft yellow cheese something you’d get in a mac & cheesebox. The guacamole was good tho the presentation was great. Hard pass on the chicken fajitas. Tasted like Ramen noodle chickenseasoning and very small portions for $22.00 The place is made to look upscale and elegant with beautiful decorations. Thedrinks where also very good. I had the Tequila mule and a cucumber chili margarita my wife had a passion fruit piña colada anda watermelon mojito. Would definitely be back for the drinks but would seriously contemplate ordering more food from here (ifyou’re in the mood for REAL Mexican food.) With everything said I have to give 2 stars because the atmosphere and the drinksare only 2/4 of what makes up a Mexican restaurant. Read more
Perfect. Probably the best Mexican food I've ever eaten. Certainly, at this point, my favorite restaurant in Little Rock. The... staff were incredibly kind and helpful, too, even those who weren't Our server. I have been in the Food and Beverage industryfor over 35 years and it is a rare thing, indeed, to find such a well-trained staff and clean restaurant. Aug 10th - The food and service was everything I have heard about. Pretty much fell in love with the chili con queso! The steak... quesadillas were tender and exellent flavoring. One of the things I liked the most was their coke. They have the syrup ratiodialed up!! Great experience with attentive staff. Pricing is on par with other restaurants in the area. After all the hype and a great catering at my job I decided to pay a in house visit and it was okay. Just okay. I had a... strawberry mojito that was good. My server was the best part, she was very knowledgeable about the bar and food menu. Thebathrooms was clean. The food was just okay, very bland even with the sauce. I guess my expectations were a little high. Theonly negative vibe was my group enjoying each other’s company and no one mentioned how they were about to close or would beclosing shortly. Instead a woman rounded the counter pointer her finger and rudely saying ‘y’all got to go!’ I’ve workedas a server and always let my tables know hey we are closing soon have a good night blah blah. It's been a few years since we've eaten at Cantina Laredo. Our last experience was not favorable that being the reason for not... visiting sooner. When we arrived we were seated quickly at 601pm. At 611pm our server appeared. No water was presented until614pm. Our food arrived at 616pm. Not a good sign. My plate was hot to the touch but the food was not. I ordered the chickenfajita burrito and my husband ordered chicken fajitas. The meat was tasteless. Not enough or any flavor. You could telleverything was not made fresh. Extremely disappointing. Not a long wait time to be seated. Seems clean and really taking precautions on safety with this whole situation. The server... didn't really offer specials or really try to interact with us. Didn't give us much time to enjoy the ambience. All the foodcame out super fast. The salsa was great, and the food was good too. The manager came to ask if everything was good to eachtable. The price seemed worth it based on the environment. But it would've been nice if the server interacted more to actuallymake it memorable. Read more
Food was amazing. We arrived right at the time they opened so they were not busy but I watched all of the wait staff stand... around playing on their phones. They weren't even interacting amongst themselves. Just face planted in their phones. We had towait for refills on our drinks and salsa because our waiter was so involved with his phone. Read more
