Reviews for Al Seraj Mediterranean Restaurant & Market in Little Rock, AK
Little hole in the wall place with great lunch buffet! Impressed with the variety of items you get for $12 (plus $3 for drink... from fridge). A chicken dish (gets just a good for flavor) plus endless yummy gyro meat. Lovely tomato eggplant dish. Lots ofveggies plus Persian pickled peppers and pickled red cabbage. Found all the standards? tabouli, hummus, pita? and all were topnotch. Only dolmas we?re disappointing- very dry. Plus baklava and coconut cake for dessert. Dining area of about 10 tables.Great food for a great price. 11am-2 pm Read more
The food here is absolutely delicious. The weights can be a little long at times. But honestly, the way the food taste is worth... it. Not only do they have food for you to eat but you can also purchase groceries there so that you?re able to cook at home. Thepeople are so friendly and very helpful. Read more
The answer is Yes. Go during the lunch buffet so you can try all the different meats, sides, and sauces. Hands down the best... hummus thats ever touched my lips and I've lived in Turkey. Drinks sold separately. Read more
We had the buffet on Sunday. They had a great variety of delicious meat choices, grape leaves, rice, and salads. Everything was... delicious! Their taziki sauce and red spicy sauce were the best I've had! Awesome. Read more
Cute little well stocked grocery store with a great restaurant deli style inside. The employee made us a veggie place with... hummus, chickpeas, eggplant and naan and also a veggie hummus wrap. You could tell the bread was homemade and it was well worthgoing back. Super friendly and great prices Read more
I finally tried the food here. Overall, 5 star. I regret not eating at the buffet at the restaurant. The man asked if I wanted... it to go, but I should have stayed to eat more of the chicken in green sauce. Wonderful! Loved it! It seems to be an Indianrecipe but maybe I'm wrong. The baba ganoush had a smoke flavor, like a hickory. I also had the falafel wrap. I'll use Zam Zamfalafel as a baseline, which is the best of the best to me. These falafel wraps have pickles and onions whereas Zam Zam useschilis and delicate mint leaf or something. This wrap has taziki sauce, I believe, whereas Zam Zam has maybe that plus sometahini sauce. I'll give them a close second place for the wrap but it was delicious. Overall, I'll go again eagerly but I'llarrive before 2 PM to really get in on the buffet. Read more
