Went today for the special 2 piece 2 sides and a biscuit, and I ask the cashier at register for 2 breasts with my order. He said... that he can only give a dark meat and white meat, i then explain to him that a few days ago I went to the Popeye in Paramus andthey gladly give me the 2 breast. He then said that the management of the Popeye in Little Ferry does not allow that at all. Iwas shocked since I thought its a huge franchise and all location should be with the same level of customer service. It was nota problem at all the the Paramus location and the cashier mentioned that the manager worked at the Paramus location at onepoint. Maybe the clientele in the Paramus location has better preferences. Anyhow, i said ok. I took the food home. He gave me aleg, and thigh under cook, and NOT even one chicken Breast. The customer service has failed me, and im sure there are even morecustomer who feel the same way and will not take the time to vent, but in turn will not go back to that location. This is thesecond time i?ve been to that location in Little Ferry and the first time which was a few years ago I had similar issues withthe customer service. Update: 3/1/2021: Still takeout and delivery only because of COVID. They staff is still very friendly but operation is slow and... disorganized as usual. Food is decent most of the time. Their apple pie was especially good on my lastvisit. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This place is a hit or miss. Sometimesthey do a great job and sometimes they get things very wrong. Whether it?s in-store, at the drive through, ordering throughtheir app or through the various delivery services, food is very hit or miss. Sometimes I would get the Popeyes chicken that Ilove and taste great and other times I would get cold and very salty mess. On the bright side, most of my interaction with thestaff has mostly been great, they are usually friendly. Read more
The food is decent, I especially like their spicy chicken sandwich but this restaurateur is very disorganized. They take forever... to prepare your order and if you want it deliver, expect to wait over an hour. Even when ordering a head for pickup, they don'tstart on your order until you arrive which really defeats the purpose (and yes, tell them in the app to get the order readybecause I am close by). The staff is very friendly but don't seem well trained. They are constantly walking back and forthunsure of what to do. Their new fish sandwich is a miss, very bland and nothing special. They are still currently take out anddelivery only. This location has a drive through and parking lot with decent amount of paces. Read more
I've been here many times before the sandwich craze. Always good chicken and friendly service. I went today, and my wife said... that she felt sorry for them, that they all looked so tired. Hang in there! Sandwich is really good, worth the wait. Read more
The place has gone down hill in recent years. You can taste that they didn't change the frying oil as often as they should. Some... of the tables were not wiped properly and there were crumbs on the chairs. Mind you I was there around 11:30am so there is noreason for the tables and chairs not to be clean. Read more
