Because I love Caribbean Food, and I stumbled upon this restaurant in the area in which I now live, it was a no brainer for me... to try them out. I didn?t have a problem with the prices or the customer service?. It was my food! My 1st mistake was to notcheck my food before I left. That?s my fault. I ordered Brown Stew chicken, Rice and Peas, Plantain, Cabbage, and a side of Macand Cheese! Most Caribbean restaurants don?t offer Mac and cheese which is why I was shocked to see it on the menu. Fast forwardto when I got home?. I was instantly HEATED (????)! To my surprise I was given fried chicken PIECES instead of Brown Stew andBLAND (unseasoned) sides! But the worst part was the SWEET, Bland, and Cheese-less Mac and Cheese! This was a waste of time,money, and food. NEVER AGAIN! Read more
Soup needs food only has dumplings! I specifically requested for no dumplings. Please have better customer service
I?m not from here so I went here based on the 4.5+ star Google review but I was really disappointed. The people in the drive... thru were very nice but the food had no flavor. I ordered a veggie plate (rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains). The rice andpeas was ok but the cabbage had no flavor/seasoning and the plantains were dry. Read more
My personal opinion about the food.... it's tasteless. It doesn't have the Jamaican taste or feel to the food. The macaroni and... cheese was watery and the jerk chicken is just nasty. You get a lot of food for the price bit I just had a lot of food to throwaway before going somewhere else to eat. Hopefully they make some changes in the kitchen to bring in more business. Read more
Brown Stew Chicken. Rice and peas, plantains and a jerk patty. The best in DeKalb County and most of Gwinnett.
Use to eat here all the time. I drive all the way from the west side for what I thought was going to be some good Jamaican food.... The oxtail was nothing but fat as shown in the picture. Mind you I spent $20 on a large order of oxtail. All together the foodlacked flavor. I was disappointed in my experience and most likely won?t be returning. Read more
Eat Right is a good restaurant with a variety of Caribbean foods on their menu. Even in the midst of the pandemic, everyone is... working hard with good service and pleasantries. We love eating here! Up to now we had always been happy with the food at this place, sure, on some occasions the service had left much to be desired... but the food made the trip worth the pain, today we got 2 plates of what we thought would be Jerk Chicken and we ended up with 2plates of BBQ chicken a huge disappointment since this was not discovered until the food got home and we were getting ready toeat, I called to speak to the manager and the manager was no where to be found. We were so happy to have found this place andnow it seems like we are going to have to seek a different location for our food. Read more
