The food was amazing! I ordered fish and grits! Everything was fresh, the fish was crispy and seasoned perfectly. The grits were... just how I like it creamy and cheesy! Literally just like they said, ?just like your grandmas cooking?! I?m from up north andhave been searching for an authentic southern restaurant and it exceeded my expectations! Will be returning for dinner soon! Read more
I can?t remember how I found this place. Glad I did I came in at the end of Breakfast was able to get some bacon as an... appetizer. We had Turkey meatloaf and baked chicken. We loved the greens. Cabbage was a bit soggy. Dressing was good. Friendordered the Mac. They ate it all. Lemon pound cake to go. They were out of peach cobbler. The gravy hit it off. Server wasn?tthe best. Will be back. Positives first... The waitress was kind. The food was awesome. My fish was cooked perfectly with this gentle lemony flavor that... I would love to enjoy again. Unfortunately, the bad.... The decor looks like a restaurant from the 70s/80s white tablecloths, weird purple globes, numbers on each table, and nothing matches. I mean ZERO VIBES! The water tasted so bad no one at our tabledrank it. There we're four tables seated in the restaurant. We ordered sometime before 11:10 and didn't get our food until11:35. We almost walked out! Some weird buffet started up, and we were so confused. We assume that's why our food wasridiculously late, but there was no communication from the waitress. We were happy to leave. Belinda can cook! But the customerexperience needs a lot of help. Read more
While waiting 45 minutes for a table at a nearby restaurant, we drove by Belinda's Southern Cuisine. We decided to take a chance... and we were glad we did. We were seated immediately. The restaurant had an ample amount of diners. The waitress was great. MyBlack Wall Street drink was superb (prepared by the waitress). Food came out hot and it was delicious. The ambiance was fun. There was a live band setting up, but we finished before they could start. We will definitely be going back. Read more
Went to Belinda's for dinner was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised, the mac & cheese was deliciously smooth with a bit apparently... Ms. Belinda uses a little peeper jack cheese and just the tight amount it's not to spicy it's just right. The cabbage was goodas well and the greens tasted like grandma's ???? on point! The sweet potato soufflé was delicious mot too sweet just theright amount of sweetness to make the meal complete of what one thinks off when it comes to soul food. I am not a meat eaterbut my date was and he had the chicken lets just say it must of been good cause he ate all the meat from them wings. I highlyrecommend if your in the Stonecrest area that you try Belinda's tell them Kishia sent you!!! Read more
First experience! My wife and I had a great time. We were greeted by Natasha who was warm and welcoming. Kari (please forgive... the spelling if incorrect) was our waitress. She was attentive and offered pleasant service. The servers were friendly andcourteous. In fact, a young lady offered to bring my sweet potato soufflé instead of making me wait for the kitchen staff tobring a clean serving utensil. As for the food? Delish. We arrived on Sunday for the brunch buffet. My first trip, I had asucculent Turkey wing seasoned just right with the meat literally falling off the bone. I also had cheesy macaroni,well-seasoned collards, a soft-baked roll and muffins. My wife also had beef tips that were seasoned well. I had an ArnoldPalmer mixed just right. For dessert I had a slice of key-lime cake and Lemon. They were thinly sliced but I won?t argue there. All in all this was an exceptional experience. Read more
