Tried them today got one meat and one side $7.99 and a bottle drink for $2.00 ended up paying $10.99 for everything. The... barbecue rib tasted old like it was cooked yesterday and the turnips were not very good I ended up throwing the rest away in theparking lot also the staff wasn?t friendly no thank you for trying us out or anything they acted like I was bothering them willnever be back sort of happy I?m moving from Stonecrest some African Americans aren?t very friendly they act like they have achip on their damn shoulder. Friendly service and food hits the spot. The pulled pork is tender and flavorful. The big rigatoni mac & cheese tastes better... than you?ll get anywhere else. The sweet potato soufflé tastes like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Update: I tried the bananapudding and it was not good. The portion size was generous but the pudding had a funny, artificial flavor taste and there wereno nilla wafer/cookies in the actual pudding other than the ones sprinkled on top and sides for garnish. I've been sleeping on this place. Had the veggie plate. Beans were probably the best I've had in a few years. The Mac and cheese... didn't look great but I got it anyways. It tasted way better than it looked. Then I got the collard greens.. not usually a fanof collards but these were actually good too!! Read more
I tried to call this establishment to try to figure out a solution for the terrible salads i purchased. We love to support black... businesses however bad food is bad food. We ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads for 9 bucks a piece and we basically received wiltedruffage and frozen chicken strips that were extremely cold. We couldn't even eat the salad because it was so bad and had tothrow it out. I called several times so I wouldn't have to drive back to the mall for a refund but like i thought, they didn'tanswer. I don't knock any black business, get your money but we as a people spend too much money on food and AS A PEOPLE youshould definitely know what we do and don't like when it comes to our food and cheap frozen food doesn't work when you'recharging 9 bucks a piece. I've been coming to BBQ works since they were downtown and have followed them to stonecrest making me a customer since 2003. I... understand precooking food when you have a constant flow of customers but stonecrest doesn't have the volume of customers that5pts had.... Making it unnecessary to precook food and then refry it once you have an order. I didn't see them do that yesterdaybut I knew it by taste, how it looked, and smelled really greasy. I came back today and asked if I could have my order madefresh. The guy asked what did I mean. I said can you just make my wings fresh. He said that he could give my money back. I willnot be back.
