HORRIBLE FOOD/ HORRIBLE SERVICE My family and I stopped in for dinner and the first thing that turned me off was the... unprofessionalism of the lady that took the order. She wasn't rude but I found her a bit annoying and inattentive. We sat downand even though there were only 2 other customers there, we waited 45 minutes for 3 shrimp meals and 10 wings. (I know because Ichecked the time.) I suspect they were short staffed and taking online orders but, even that would have been okay. However, thefood was not good after all that. I did have a fish and shrimp combo the fish was undercooked, like it was soggy and had lightand dark areas, the chicken wings were also undercooked. My brother took one bite of this huge fatty wing and it was bloodyinside. Fries and fish were also super greasy. I understand that fried food is cooked in heavy oil but this tasted like maybedirty oil or something. Then again with the front desk lady and her bad customer service. We ordered shrimp enough for 3 peopleand she literally gives us one small cocktail sauce for us to share I guess and no tarter sauce. When my brother asked for moretarter and ketchup, she rolled her eyes and said something under her breath about people that dine in. I?m giving this place 3 stars unfortunately for a number of reasons not directly related to the taste of my food because it was... decent (not amazing) but definitely manageable. What wasn?t manageable was my time having to wait for my order to be taken andreceived. It was an excess of 45 minutes easy. I also attempted to reach them via phone to place pick up order and I wanted tocheck menu out via website but neither option was on the google listing when I checked. The seafood wasn?t very fresh andtasted once frozen. The sides weren?t exciting. This is a black ram establishment and that charms me but Juicy crab isunfortunately still a step above in flavor. However this place can?t be beat in quantity of food, giving you tons of value foryour money. Read more
The greeter/waitress was great! She explained the menu & answered any questions we had before placing our order. The food was... good! I had the lobster rolls w/fries & husband had fried perch w/green beans. The seasoning was just right! Read more
This food was not good at all. I asked for the wings to be fried hard and they weren?t. The chicken tasted like they sprinkled... it with lemon pepper or something after it was done. The rice was mushy and definitely didn?t taste like shrimp fried rice. Ittasted like the rice was overcooked. Then added soy sauce and vegetables to try to cover up the white rice taste but it didn?twork. Huge portion of shrimp fried rice with 1 jumbo shrimp and 3 medium ones. I love the catfish and the staff they are awesome and amazing I love Sam he took care of me and my party and I come here all the... time for the catfish that's all I eat. I gave this place a 5 star's for everything they do to make you feel welcome. Read more
Wow! We loved our experience at Cod Tails on Sunday for lunch. Husband got grilled tilapia and had nothing but good things to... say. I got the boiled shrimp 1/2 pound with potatoes and corn. The sauce I chose was mild house, which is a very very yummy mildCajun buttery blend of deliciousness! Waitress was great and super friendly and made us feel welcome. Can?t wait to got back!
