I've tried ground control a handful of times now. The first couple times was pretty tough. 2 hour wait for food and a servers... were almost afraid to check in on us. Decided to give it a try again after about a year and they seem to be doing much better.Menu is a lot smaller but still delicious and their selection of beer is the best in town. Still sometimes a decent wait forthings but they seem to have more help and being doing better. Trivia on Mondays is always a great time! Seems like they do alot of other great events as well. From the outside this place looks a little snooty but once you go in it's really down to earth and approachable. The beer... selection was fantastic and the food was amazing...I think I ordered a chicken club. The prices are reasonable considering thehigh quality and also everything is more expensive these days. I'll have to come back for happy hour. They have a wood firepizza oven which I'm definitely coming back to try. Can't wait for my next visit. P.s. they have cans and bottles of hard tofind craft brews that you can take home. Read more

Went on a Saturday afternoon and this place was a mess. It?s very dirty and completely falling apart. The chairs are peeling... there is a mess as soon as you walk in,looks more like a storage than a restaurant. After we were seated our waitress was superaloof, she did not seem interested in making a good impression. We had to ask for everything: silverware, napkins, salt, ketchupand she was chit chatting behind the bar most of the time. We waited for your food way too long. We ordered fries and burgers,which should not take that long. The fries were obviously old or had sat at the warming light way too long, and the food washonestly flavorless, we had to add salt to everything. The only good thing about this place was the beer list. I will add theyhad two giant tables put together and were waiting for a huge party to arrive. Their tables were set with water, pitchers,utensils, napkins and all the salt and ketchup. But they did not arrive until we left so there is no excuse, this place waspractically empty when we got there. Update: Returned on Friday April 8th. Past situation was resolved. The servers, kitchen staff and everyone seemed to be... working together. Food was great. Overall it was a much better experience and we will definitely be returning. Talk about as**t show! Gordon Ramsey really needs to come save this place. Pretty sure no one has a clue, waitress with glasses has majorattitude, kitchen was yelling at each other, and owner was absolutely lost. Next time your employee cuts his hand or fingeropen you may want to take care of him or your kitchen(which you finally stepped up) that was out of control instead of thetickets. Read more

Food is fresh made and beer options are constantly changing so you can try something new every time you go. The kitchen service... could use some organizational tips so everyone?s food comes out together so don?t try it if you have a time crunch. I come to this establishment to get beer often, finally decided to check their food out.... I did not go well. First off the... service, our waiter. He didn't write any of our orders down and, what do you know? He forgot to bring stuff to our table. Thismay have created some confusion with a personal pizza order. Which resulted in more time to wait for it. But before I get onthat pizza, I will discuss my order which was the Nashville chicken sandwich. It's a nice helping size of chicken, and niceamount of fries. However, every single piece of that meal was bland.. BLAND. I don't even know how that's possible for friedchicken... And now the pizza, at first glance it looks amazing but it was unfortunately undercooked..will I try the food again?Yes, maybe it was an off day. Absolutely need to stop here for at least a cup of coffee if you're in the area! Stopped here for a quick breakfast while... staying in town. I googled a breakfast place last minute and they popped up with a cool coffee menu so my husband and I decidedto give it a try. The food, the service, the vibe were great, and the coffee, next level!
