Second visit with elderly parents- easy accessibility, awesome food & service. We sat on patio outside today - really nice!
Wonderful experience here! The clam chowder was my aim when I heard about it and it didn't disappoint. My family tried... everything from burgers to scallops and pretty much everything in between. All of it was really good. Their fries are fantastic.I know that's a weird thing to compliment, but they really were worth having instead of substituting out. The scallops and clamswere tender and their shrimp and fish were both nice and light. We certainly are too much even though we left food on the table,but it was a really great addition to our vacation and I'm grateful for the recommendation. Kudos, Lobster House! Read more
First time here and I really like this place. Prices are super reasonable and they also have a lunch menu which is a bargain for... fresh seafood. I got the ?New England Clam Bake? which comes with a 1 1/4 lobster and a generous amount of steamers with a sideof baked potato. All that for 40 bucks! Both the lobster and clams are very fresh. It's been a while since my last visit to The lobster Boat. In that time the whole restaurant has been remodeled inside and out.... But the food is as good as it's ever been. I had the seafood plate. It was golden brown and had all the seafood taste. My wifehad the baked haddock and scallops with a lite bread crumb topping. These were also tasteful and delicious. Read more
1st time here but probably the last time. Clean room and very nice staff. Our server Maddie was friendly and very attentive. My... daughter had a small cup of chowder and a lobster roll which she enjoyed. I ordered a 2 way shrimp & scallop plate with an onionring upgrade over fries. To be fair the rings took over half the plate when placed side to side but they were the highlight ofmy dinner. They were excellent! The rather small fried clams were really too small for deep frying- and the eight quarter sizedscallops did not have much flavor- almost like they were previously frozen. For $31.50 a plate I did not expect a overflowingplate of food- but I do expect quality ingredients. Read more

Finally tried this place after driving by it for years. What a positive experience! Very clean, friendly, modern with outdoor... seating. I had fish & chips - very lightly fried - just perfect. Fries were fantastic as well. My wife had clam chowder in abread bowl and she was very impressed as well. And the prices are more than reasonable - we will be back here many times over! Read more
Writing as I wait on the check because I'm so flabbergasted. My wife and I shared both a large bread bowl clam chowder and a... jumbo lobster roll. The clam chowder was flavorful, savory, and the clams were fresh and tender. Just the right ratio of clammeat to soup to vegetable to bread. The bowl itself was toasted to perfection and we even finished that to the last. Thelobster roll was outstanding. Another toasted-to-perfection piece of bread was the bun, and it held together even after beingsliced in half. Great crunch, and very warm. The cold lobster filling was just how you'd expect, which is to say delicious.Perhaps it was a touch too cold, but munching on the fries that came out fresh and crisp made the wait for it to normalizetemperature a bit a very pleasing one. Our server, Meg, was very kind. She didn't overstay at our table, but communicatedeffectively and accommodated our decision process, even letting us sample some soups to help decide.
