We went around 230 the place was dirty ,floor was slippery .we got fish and more the fries were cold and greasy, the Cole slaw... had to much dressing which never did before ....for what we spent the food should of been hot and they were not busy so I thinkthe food was under the light ..my opinion they had been closed for awhile you would of thought it would be cleaner in there thenwhat it was .not sure if we will be back again ... Ordered my food at 8:15. Paid cash. Was told to move to a parking spot. Didn't get my food until 8:35, and that was AFTER I had... to ask the people working where my order was. Glad I checked it before I left, because they didn't even get the order correct...No hush puppies... Had to go back thru drive thru again to have them get it right, and by the time I got them, food was cold. Look, I've worked fast food. I know you're trying to save clock time for the drive thru... But that was just plain dumb. Andafter all that aggravation, the only thing said to me was Sorry... Absolutely no incentive to come back. If I could give a nostar review, I would. I went in for my first day of work and the store was closed.Nobody notified me.They could've called text sent an email... ,anything. I did not get paid for the orientation.I did not get reimbursed for the fifteen dollars I spent for getting therequired Illinois food safety license.I didn't get reimbursed for the tank of gas that was wasted going there or reimbursed forthe shirt and hat they told me to wear.I am very unhappy. Long Jhon silvers is not my first choice when I go out to eat and as a matter of fact I've not been to one in years. The staff... at this location has customer service down. They understand how to make a customer happy. While the food isn't the first thingI'd pick the staff is made up of some of the nicest people in the area. Read more
My wife and I stopped here recently while traveling (2-20-22) at about 7:30 pm and couldn't get service at the drive thru. So we... left and went down the street to get fuel. When we returned, we drove past the window and saw that there were a couple peopleinside but no one would respond at the drive thru, so we drove around and were going to go inside and order but the 4 guys thatwere standing by the door looked too threatening and we chose to go elsewhere. Were they employees? Is it usual to abandon theirpost to go outside and smoke? Or were they just visitors? We chose not to stick around to find out. Read more
Went there when they first opened back up, it was good, not great. Went there 2 weeks ago and it was terrible. I will never go... back. The prices are ridiculous for what you get. The fish was like a greasy sponge. The fries were rubber, means they weresitting and got dropped again. The hushpuppy. .... no way. Greasy and over cooked. You tear it in half and it's empty almost. Isuggest if you want to stay in business, get new management. I called to talk to the manager but it was the same person whoserved me at the window.
