My cousin and I walked into Grill Effect, not having been there in years (tb to when it was known as Chill n Grill), and were... pleasantly greeted by THE OWNER. That's right, not some random employee manning the cash register, but Jeff, the owner. My manJeff struck up a conversation while taking our order and it was great! We talked about our school day, one of his jobs beforeowning Grill Effect, and, most importantly, the menu. Jeff went into great detail about some items; he hyped up each ingredientin the chicken Philly steak and the gyro burger. He even GUESSED what I wanted (AND HE WAS RIGHT!!) The food was perfectly hypedup and not at all overrated. Jeff also came out and asked us how our food was and if we wanted anything else. (Spoiler: we leftwith more human interaction than we do at school, leftovers, and free brownies). Me and my cousin came here after school. The owner was at the front and he was so kind. He added to the experience of eating in... the dining room. He gave us a 10 percent discount since we are students at the near by college. He checked up on us multipletimes. He also gave us free brownies that he just made. We will definitely come again! I just had one of the best double cheeseburgers in my life here! Definitely going to keep coming back to try the rest of what... they offer.
