Better than Portillo's. This has got to be one of the best fast food joints out there. My man made me a Hot Dog special with hot... crispy fries and a coke in less than a minute. LESS THAN A MINUTE. I came here to grab a quick bite before we mini golfed. I ordered a salad $8.95 for me and a hot dog $3.95 for my child. The man... taking the order told me the salad was a little more than the price on the board. I said, ok, but was confused by the suddenchange. I ended up paying $21 for a yellow lettuce salad and a hot dog. I have more than 20 years in the food industry. In allthe places I've eaten at in Chicago, I've never written a bad review. Great service and great food! We had an Italian beef and a Chicago dog. They were both a more than adequate representations of... their iconic heritage. The French fries here were a real standout! Real Chicago style hot dogs, good Specials, thick cut fresh fries and great counter service. Very friendly. You can also phone... ahead so your order is ready, or have it delivered. So far hot dogs, chili dogs, fries, gyros, pizza are all good as are thenice sized salads. New owners & Management since BUNNY HUTCH. Enough seating, bring your family.
