Everything we had was great! Except the fried green tomatoes and when we asked for exchange them after only taking 1 bite. First time trying Zhays. We had never been before so wanted to try them out. We only received some of the items we ordered, and... our appetizer was soggy. Wings were dry and lacking flavor. Alfredo was not great, not a lot of flavor either. Not impressedbased off the price. Can't speak to the dine-in experience, but wouldn't recommend spending that much on lacklusterfood. Called today to place an order for 100 wings, for an event on Saturday. Was asked what time I would pick up (4:15 ) and was told... to call Saturday to make sure they have them. I expressed that I would need to place this order today to ensure I have them. Iasked to speak with the manager and was told he?s not going to come to the phone then was told if I prepay I could place theorder. Amazing menu, great location and our waitress was wonderful! My husband and I took our grandchildren for lunch. I got the... special: Mediterranean Mahi and it was delicious! My grandson loved the kids chicken tenders and fries. I didn?t get pictures ofmy husband?s pork chop sandwich or my granddaughter?s Caesar salad but both were great. Who are the people giving this place a good rating? We ordered chili and a grilled cheese sandwich. We specifically asked the... waitress if the grilled cheese sandwich was made with cheddar cheese or American cheese (processed cheese). She asked thechef/owner and he told her it was cheddar cheese. She served us our sandwich and it was Velveeta. The owner and chef himselfdoes not even know The difference between real cheese and a processed cheese like product. Either that, or he?s a liar. Eitherway, that?s not acceptable. I ordered chicken wings and took one bite of rubbery, smelly chicken. If you are used to eating outof a can, you MAY find this place acceptable. Read more
