An imitation of the famous mile high New York style corned beef and pastrami delicatessen. Corned beef is solid but not knock... your socks off good. Prices are high for this type of item because of the large amount of time it takes to make corned beef orpastrami. That being said I do think they are a bit out of touch with market rate. Their pound corned beef sandwich is moreexpensive than katzs deli in New York, the MOST famous deli in the world that also upcharges because of its fame. If you'regonna charge more than an establishment like katzs your corned beef better be the best on planet earth, and while it's good,it's not THAT good. Going rate for other similar pound sandwiches is around 22 dollars or so, which a lot of people wouldn'tjustify for a sandwich but corned beef is expensive. I'd classify this as a luxury item, it's not something you could justifygetting for lunch every day, you'd go broke. Also as a side note I read through some of the other reviews and the owner seemscondescending and writes paragraphs explaining why it's the customer's fault that they didn't like the food and that they HAVEto charge almost 30 dollars for a pound sandwich. I'm not sure of their business model but you can objectively say compared tosimilar products this is overpriced. At that price point you could buy a ribeye steak dinner, or get a corned beef sandwich, which I think is why so many people feel it's not a great value. 4 stars for taste, minus 1 star for value. I love corned beef, and especially when on a good rye bread. Added some horseradish of course. Potato salad is homemade and is... very good as well. Friendly folks. Service always great. Highly recommend. Read more

Fries are dry and over cooked. I got a Ruben. Very good and filling. $63 was the total when we were told $46 on the phone. Three... sandwiches and two drinks and two fries. That?s crazy. I could spend another $15 and get my family a steak dinner from outback.I don?t see how this business will stay going with these types of prices. If the prices were decreased and the fries were betterthey would be fire. I get the price of everything has increased but still that?s a bit much. Don?t think we will be back. Read more
