Friendly service. Open late. Fun chalk boards in the restroom & sharpies to draw all over the walls near the front! Besides... that, our first time here was a bummer. Waited more than an hour for a single order of fish & chips with chowder (a ?bowl? isquite small, maybe 4-5 oz???) to go. Frustrating because when we arrived, the bar wasn?t busy! Each and every newcomer orderedand got served food and drink before we did. The whole bar was full of happy customers enjoying dinner, some with even largerorders than our simple one that shouldn?t have taken so long to make. We each had a shot, and it occurred to us they wanted usto stay longer to spend more. At least the food was good, just not worth the ridiculous wait while others (regulars, maybe?)seemed to jump in front of the line. Read more
We went here for the first time this year, as we go to Lincoln City yearly, this place is awesome! We were treated as family and... the Bloody Mary's was awesomely delighted to drink! Peggy is a wonderful, kind, funny, and very nice person! I am so glad andhonor to meet her and her staff. The ambiance of the Snug is down to earth! You made our stay so welcoming! We love this bar! The service is amazing and the food hits the spot! Great bloody Kentucky! That's just whiskey instead of vodka... (trust me it's a whole other layer of flavor). This was a very heartwarming visit and we can't wait to go back! Read more
This was our favourite visit along the Oregon Coast because our dog was treated like the good boy he is. This restaurant is a... dog friendly 21+ space. We all enjoyed the rooftop patio that allowed the puppy to go off leash. Read more
Love this bar and its staff?Shelly was amazing? awesome? funny..We were there in Lincoln City for a week and breakfast is one... of our favorite meals.. We googled and Snug Harbor popped up so we went there to try it out? We went back there every morning at10 am ? if we didn?t like the food or staff we would have never have gone back.. Whenever I travel, I am always searching for a great breakfast and I found one hidden gem, Snug Harbor located in Lincoln City,... OR. I have driven by this rustic restaurant a hundred times and finally stopped in over the Fourth of July weekend. It is theoldest continuously running bar on the Oregon Coast opening in 1938. They have reasonably priced big portions and a bonus, theyhave an outdoor patio and upper deck that is dog friendly with lights and hanging flower baskets.... definitely a must. Read more
Definitely don't ask for a table here - just take one! Ha, several parties were reminded that this is a tavern - the bar tender... isn't a waitress. But she warmed up quick enough and became friendly. The food was surprisingly fast and delicious. There's asurcharge for using card which I didn't love, but I guess it's essentially a cash discount otherwise. Read more
Simple fish and chips meal. No Tartar sauce. No dipping sauce! Requested tartar sauce.???? No show? Onion rings and fish where ... greasy.????.Slow service under staffed very sad! I suppose that could be okay, if you had drinks that are drinkable and someoneto man the bar.Long Island iced tea, or electric iced tea, don?t even ask????. I?m thinking We should have tried the pizza! Theysay to have the best in town? Clams! stay away from the clam chowder. Unless you like bacon fat and clams. I?m always lookingfor fun hideaways but this place needs new management to provide more quality staffing. Oldest restaurant in town,NEEDS ! tostep up and be what you clam ???? to be.
