I am so glad that my husband and I ended up here for dinner. Service was fantastic. We were served immediately, never had to... wait for anything. The food was really good and tasty. Had a reservation and were seated promptly.. Great service from Priscilla. White pizza, shrimp scampi, and calamari were all... excellent. Indoor and outdoor seating with heat lamps. Wood fired pizza gives the pizza that great added flavor. Bread andbalsamic/olive oil for dipping g was also a nice extra. Read more
Great menu selection but poor execution. I had the chicken pasta premivera which included all the right ingredients and looked... great but the taste fell short of expectations. For an appetizer I had the white bean and vegetable soup which also had noseasoning whatsoever. My wife had the chicken pesto pepper pizza but the crust was burned and lacked the expected flavor. Thepesto was spread thin and lacked the fresh basil taste. Ultimately it?s very overpriced and presented well but lacks thequality you would expect at a $35/plate price point. The only real redeeming fact about this restaurant is the wine selectionwhich is probably because of the winery next door. Read more
Nice ambiance, food was definitely not 5 star. The service was a bit slow. The negroni cocktail was excellent as was the... selection of wines. The octopus appetizer was ok. The pork a la milanese did not have a crispy breading, but the raspberrygastrique added a delish counterpoint. Dessert was great. Cappuccino not served hot. Expensive for the overall quality. A excellent dining experience. We started with grilled octopus over lemon risotto, blistered cherry tomatoes, balsamic glaze. My... first experience with octopus and I definitely will try it again, but I don't know the bar is set high for octopus. I had themeatball Florentine soup very good. For our main dish my wife had chicken marsala. It had 3 different mushrooms which gave thedish a richness and depth of flavor. Also the chicken was cooked perfectly. Another added bonus of the chicken marsala was thehousemade fresh pasta. ????????. I had the vegetable lasagna with a side of sausage which has squash, zucchini, roasted redpeppers, parmesan, ricotta, alfredo, fresh lasagna ribbons in it. This is the best veggie lasagna I have ever had. La Vistadoesn't drench it in Alfredo which it a sign of a good restaurant and it allows you to taste all the other ingredients. Fordessert we had creme brulee and tiramisu. Both made in house and tasted excellent. At the end of dinner I was very fulfilled andprobably needed to be rolled out of the restaurant. Read more
We stayed at the Riverwalk for our wedding and had our rehearsal dinner here. They were so accommodating, allowed us to have it... during the hours they were closed so we had the whole place just for the dinner. Staff is super nice food is phenomenal! Not onething I would change. Everything is made fresh in house even the dressings and sauces. Atmosphere is very classy andcomfortable. Everyone loved all the food. The food is pricy because it?s worth it and the servings are huge! You will have leftovers. We came here for take out another day and same exact experience just phenomenal food! We will be coming here after a nicelong day of snowboarding at Loon. Great for date nights and anniversaries as well. Please don?t change you guys are amazing! Read more
