Reviews for El Charro in Lincoln, NH
This is probably one of the worst Mexican restaurants I've eaten at. All the waiters seemed very clumsy and did not know... anything about the specials. They had to remake our food because they didn't get our order right. We also saw many otherssending their food back into the kitchen for the same reason. Very very limited options for vegetarians. The order looked niceon the plate when served, but below average taste in spite of their so called "authentic Mexican food" claim. Would notrecommend this restaurant unless you're starving and need to get something in your system. Decent chips and salsa. Great optionsfor drinks. Read more
Came here after a hike on a Monday so plenty of open tables but there were other folks. The service was quick. I ordered the... Carnitas which came with rice, lettuce, refried beans and 3 corn tortillas. At first the amount of meat seemed little becausethe order my buddy got was full of beef (forgot the name of his but it's some tender steak pieces). But as I was eating, itfilled me up plenty. The knock on this place is for the value. It was pricey for what it was... Between 2 of us it was almost$60 before tips. I get it, it's in a spot near ski resort and in the summer there are bunch of hikes around. Food was good butnot amazing. I would probably choose another place next time for that reason... But if someone else is paying, I'll come back. ;) Read more
The Mexican food here was great. The service was good, I will say there was 1 really hard working man hostessing, waiting, and... bartending, and everything went smoothly. We didn't wait too long for our food and everything was delicious. Read more
The day of our visit we noticed they were short staffed, so we got seated and waited a while, until Memo saw is and asked us if... our order was already taken, so we said no and then he quickly took our drinks order and came back to take our food order, whichdidn't take too long to arrive. Memo did an amazing job trying to cover as many tables as he could. He was so nice and kind withmy daughters tha they even mention how friendly he was. The food was delicious. All four of us enjoyed what we ordered. Thanksagain to Memo and keep doing a great job! Read more
Ambiance: 0.1/1 Service: 1/1 Food: 2/3 Total: 3.1/5 When we walked in to pick up the food, the restaurant smelled like vomit,... which was not very pleasing. The staff was very friendly however. They did forget the rice beans guac sour cream and cheese withthe fajitas which ruined the fajitas. Read more
I loved this hidden gem of a tasty Mexican restaurant! My wife has the burrito, which she devoured and enjoyed her Chimichanga!... A beautiful rice and fresh shredded lettuce and tomatoes were also there. I had the shredded chicken burrito. It was so packed Ihad to take half home. The chips and salsa were fresh with a light heat and fresh chips. The waitress, Manu was amazingly quick, super friendly, and very helpful. Such a delightful waitstaff. Fridays are the best night to come as they have karaoke as wellas live bands! In addition they have pool tables, sit down games, and Beautiful art on their tables. A special shout out to#603Tyler for his recommendation of a great Mexican Place! 11AM-10PM Open Every day When you visit, tell them #RockFromRI sentyou! Read more
Today is my second time visiting this restaurant and the food flavors do not disappoint at all. I found this place as a "last... option" the first time I came and the food changed my mind. They are understaffed and are upfront about it. But the food andatmosphere definitely make up for it. Well worth the 2.5 hour drive and will be coming back alot more!!!! Read more
Our waiter was amazing, however the food was not. The steak ?tacos? cost $26 and we got 3 dry small steak and cheese wraps. No... sauces, no cilantro, nothing else to go on the ?tacos?. It did come with a very small side of guacamole, rice and beans. Whenwe called the manager over we were told that the enchiladas are $10 cheaper because they have sauce on them and they?re chicken, not steak. The $16 veggie burrito was good but it was more of a grilled panini that had extra rice. Overall, very overpriced. Read more
