Reviews for Yia Yia's in Lincoln, NE
A punky pizza bar worth trying! Food: good. Tried ?The Local? and ?The Milano.? The Milano tasted very fresh. The crust was of... a flatbread quality, and floppy on ?the Local.? Both pizzas had an eclectic choice of toppings, but the choices seemed mature -not simply a random hodgepodge of toppings but rather a quality pairing of ingredients. Ranch was thick and not particularlygreat. Loved that they had Tapatio hot sauce. Service: decent. The lady taking our order was helpful, but seemed swamped. Veryfriendly. The food came out in average time. Atmosphere: Punky. Early 2000s punk rock music played in background. Posters anddecorations had some spunk. Read more
We got an xl pizza. Half Mediterranean/half double pepperoni. Cost $34.99. This is expensive pizza (most expensive in Lincoln I... think) so my expectations were high. The pizza did not live up to the price or the expectations at all. The Mediterranean halfwas super dry. Not nearly enough pesto and the chicken was very dry. If that?s double pepperoni, I?d hate to see what normal is.Also, the crust was so hard that my kids struggled to eat it and my wife?s and my teeth hurt after eating it. Also, they don?tprovide table service so you get your drinks and food and take them to your table, yet they still ask for tips when paying yourbill with the first options being 25% I think. I will be going to other places in town. Read more
Terrific food, terrific service! They call you over the intercom when your order is up. And you get free refills on your... beverages. I had a Dr. Pepper, I don?t know about free refills on alcoholic beverages, because I don?t drink. A good place totake the family, friends and a date too, or to treat yourself. The staff is excellent, they took my order in a timely manner. And the pizza builders are excellent cooks. The atmosphere is excellent, I met some really good patrons there. I didn?t feellike a stranger, I felt right at home. As you can tell from the pictures, the pizza is great, and tasted even greater! If I goon a date, I will definitely take her to Yia Yia?s ???? My husband and I came here to eat before going to see a concert at the Bourbon next door. I ordered the Midwest Baked Potato,... which was delicious, but they no longer carry sour cream. Not a big deal, but it would have been good to know ahead of time. Thedessert pizza was divine and I could eat a whole pie by myself! We will definitely be back! Read more
The Greek pizza is amazing! Very flavorful and crispy! That's the way I like my pizza! The lady behind the bar was so nice and... she recommended the perfect beverage to match my pizza! This place never disappoints when we come to Nebraska! #gobigred Read more
Some of the best pizza we have ever had. You get to choose your own sauce, cheese and toppings. Everything is fresh made, hot... and delicious. Came with some fresh yeast bread that reminded me of my Grandma?s?with real butter and honey. My son tried pestofor the first time?excellent! Read more
The atmosphere of Yia Yia's is fantastic. Interesting decor but with a very chill feel. They have a great selection of beer,... but the pizza is fantastic. I'm typically not a big thin crust fan, but they do it incredibly well here. If you're expectingpizza hut, you probably won't like it, but if you're wanting a good local pizza don't pass this place up! Read more
The vibe is cool, the staff was super friendly with recommendations on local beers to try with our pizza. The pizza itself is... overrated and very expensive for what I am assuming is mostly canned and pre-packaged veggies. If I was under any impressionthat they were fresh and locally sourced I'd have zero issues paying a premium price. My other point of conflict was the optionto tip when you purchase your pizza, although you as the customer will literally do all of the work. You will pick up your pizzafrom the window when it's ready, eat your meal, then bus your own table when you're done. Aside from all of that it was a coolplace in a great location. Read more
