Took my daughter out to celebrate her birthday here had a enjoyable time and the food was delicious.
I've always enjoyed this place but the last 2 times have not been great. The first time we were served our appetizer at the end... of the meal, disappointing but whatever. The guy doing the cooking was just okay. Tonight we went, never even got ourappetizer and the cook was horrible. He didn't engage with us or even acted like he wanted to be there. We had a pretty muchall adult table but our daughter had never been and the cook did not do any of the fun things that you go there for. I wasdisappointed for her. Our waiter was terrible, he never checked on our table and I had to chase him down for a second drink. So a new place called Oishi is going to be opening up on the north end of town soon, if shogun doesn't step it up they aregoing to lose a lot of business. I'm certainly going to try it out! Read more
First time customer Service was alright, usually hibachi is fun and entertaining. Server seemed in a hurry, I ordered steak and... shrimp and he forgot the steak. I had to wait for the kitchen to prepare it. By that time my party and I were almost finished. Iwill be trying a different place before I ever go back here. Read more
Made a last minute reservation for 11 people and we were effortlessly accommodated. We always love the quality of the grill show... and food. I would definitely say we receive consistent high quality in our food with each visit. We've ordered a little bit ofeverything and never are disappointed. The quantities too are impressive. Great place to eat a variety of Japanese foods. They really put on a great show while cooking the food. They do a nice birthday... song if it's your birthday. Would definitely recommend trying it and will be coming back. Read more
The food was amazing. All of our proteins, which included lobster, shrimp, scallops and steak, were cooked perfectly. The... fried rice and vegetables had wonderful flavor and our sushi rolls were beautifully presented and so tasty. It has been a whilesince I have been to Shogun. My complaint is that the show was great Loved it. Food on the other hand and service questionable. My steak was over cooked.... Servers did not clear the table as needed. We paid for a happy birthday theme did not get it. In my case I bought a $27 steakand and no extras I had water ,got charged $43. I know about taxes. The one complaint I had about that the bill was, that theone you take home with you, said a different amount than the one you signed. By at least $10 difference. So you can see why Iwas unhappy with the service at that restaurant. Read more
