Been here many times and this one was another great one! I had the fish and chips and they were excellent. My partner had a... burger and we had chips and queso for an appetizer. Generous amount of queso for the app. This place has good drinks and goodservice! Read more
I came here on a double date with my fiance and another couple because they had good ratings and vegetarian options (one from... the couple was vegetarian). The menu here really is amazing! It was so hard to pick what to go for. The best part here is theButterbeer! I'm not usually one who goes for the drinks at a restaurant so I only had some of it from my fiancé, but I reallyreally wanted one for myself! It was so good! The perfect amount of sweetness and I could have probably had this whole thing inone big gulp! I ended up going for a funky variation of the salad. I asked for the cob salad but with blackened shrimp insteadof steak, red onions instead of fried onions, and extra greens instead of tomato and zucchini. I also asked for dressing on theside but when the salad game the dressing was all over it. I ended up getting a new one. This actually took a fair amount oftime to come and everyone had already started eating by then. The Gorgonzola and dressing went really well with everything inthe salad. The major downside was the shrimp. It was extra salty! I tried to wipe out the coating with the paper towel to getrid of the salt but it was just too much. Like very very salty! The kitchen was closed at this point so I couldn't ask foranother replacement. Otherwise the salad would have been so good! Very big portion size which I really liked. My fiance got theRaspberry Beret burger because I really recommended that one. It was Candied bacon, romaine, red onion, jerk-gingerpeanut butter, raspberry-jalapeño jelly. He said everything went amazing together! I tried some of that raspberry jalapenojelly when it dripped onto my hand and it was so good! He also had a side salad and steamed broccoli. Overall experience I had to give a 3 of 5. Atmosphere and location were great. Stopped in for lunch. Service was pretty slow. We... ordered the poutine. I normally expect the cheese curds on poutine to be warm and on the verge of gooey. The cheese curds on thepoutine where freezing cold and hard. I did very much enjoy the steak balsamic and blue cheese salad. The dressing was good aswas the cook on the steak. Read more
What a much better experience than Mellow Mushroom ??. As soon as we walked in felt welcomed & even though we were in the back... by ourselves they did not forget us????. Ordered the Bloody Mary was pretty good I personally like mine spicier but it wastasty. We thought we tried the fish & chips, we?ve been on the lookout for good fish & chips since leaving England????. Wasn?tto bad we got double chips because we don?t like coleslaw. Fish was pretty good, chips was not to bad either, put a little MaltVinegar almost feels we are back in England lol. I would recommend giving it a try. Wow, really tasty food here! I had the Poutine Fries and a delicious Mountie burger. It feels weird to compliment the side... salad, but my side Cesar was pretty fantastic as well!
