Really delicious. I had a burrito with tongue and my husband had tacos ????. I like that they give plenty of salsa options. Also... great that they have a kids menu with fries and nuggets! Everyone was happy. Fast service. Will eat here again. Read more

This is my go to Mexican Restaurant when I?m in the Lincoln downtown area. It has been around for a long time. The atmosphere... is very quaint however the food is amazing. Literally feels like I?m sitting in the middle of Mexico. The tacos are veryauthentic and full of carne asada. Read more

this restaurant is one of my favorite things about living in the Near South. food is always fresh & delicious; service is speedy... yet friendly. I often go in, place my order, wait in the car for 5 minutes & pick it up. pretty sure the Runza drive-throughacross the street is no quicker or cheaper. Read more

Real authentic Mexican food. Super tasty and savory. If you like it hot, don't forget the salsa. It'll make you sweat. Glad I... stoped and tried it. I won't miss it again the next time I'm in Lincoln. Great food to satisfy your south of border craving.Yummy! Read more

There was a favorite I used to order from a place I went to when I lived in North Carolina, and I was absolutely in LOVE with... their mole poblano sauce, and since I moved out of NC in 2013, I have been searching for somewhere that has sauce like theirs.El Chaparro is now and will continue to be my favorite go to place as long as I am in Lincoln, having that dish was sonostalgic. So happy and so delicious! (And filling!) Read more

El Chaparro doesn?t try to be anything other than its genuine, phenomenal self. You?re not getting some overly flashy display... where the food is an afterthought. You?re getting an authentic, delicious meal cooked & served by hard-working, friendly staffin a comfortable and personable setting. Prices are fair, food comes out quickly, and staff are almost always attentive to ourtable?s needs. I?ll come back as many times as they?ll tolerate me mispronouncing ?Jarritos.? Read more
