A hole in the wall, local secret, won't find it unless you're looking for it kind of restaurant and it's fantastic. They've got... amazing curry, tasty sushi, delicious Thai tea and fantastic pad thai... That's all I've tried so far but I can't wait to trythe rest of the menu. This restaurant is tucked away on the far west side of town but it's totally worth the drive. They've gota great online ordering system set up on their website making carryout a easy option. Genuinely one of the most authentic and delicious Thai restaurants that I've ever been to! I was passing through the city during... a road trip, and it was such a pleasant surprise to find such a hidden gem in the middle of Nebraska. The restaurant reallydoesn't look like much, but don't let the run-down exterior and slightly sketchy neighboring gas station scare you away. Theservice is absolutely incredible; our server was incredibly kind, warm, welcoming, and helpful, and she was super helpful withanswering our questions and accommodating my dietary restrictions. And the food...wow. Truly some of the best papaya salad andtom yum that I've ever had in my life. My parents thoroughly enjoyed the pad thai and pad woon sen, although the dishes were alittle too salty for their taste. One thing I will note, though, is that Asian Taste's spice levels are pretty legitimate (thisis definitely a spice level scale catered toward a Thai person's taste buds)...their "spicy" level is actually quite hot, sodefinitely be prepared for the dishes to bring on the heat. All in all, Asian Taste was (shockingly) one of the highlights of mytrip to Lincoln, and if I ever find myself in the city again, I will definitely drop by again. Read more

So happy we went and tried something we aren't very familiar with. Tried Drunken Noodle with lime-leaf and sweet basil. It was a... new taste sensation to me. Loved it. Already decided to try Fried Rice anything next time. Can't wait! Read more

Absolutely the best Thai in Lincoln! The noodles are moist (this sounds kind'a strange, but some of the other Thai restaurants... that I've visited in the past have cooked their noodles for too long, therefore leaving them overly dry and "clumpier" thanusual), the meat is cooked just right, the spiciness is spot-on, that unique Thai taste is through the roof and the customerservice is very kind. One of our favorites - Mango Rice, is there (good mango too!... not the green stuff), Drunken Noodles andPad Thai are all also there... including a Thai soup - which is kind of like Vietnamese Pho, but has its own style and taste...a surprise! If you're looking for darn good Thai -- personally this is the best that I've had in Lincoln in years. Go/look nofurther - Asian Taste Thai Restaurant is it! (take-out photos added) Read more

I won't go back. There was nothing "bad" about it, but I didn't enjoy my meal. We tried the fried beef meatballs. All the images... are apparently of the pork, which look round. I've included one of the beef. We thought it looked tempura fried in the pictures. It's not. It was basically a flavorless, chewy, beef gyro chunk. The dipping sauce was sweet, but bitter. The chicken fried riceis definitely Thai styled. Since this is a Thai restaurant that's good, but I prefer Chinese style. Thai has less flavor to me.I ordered the Drunken Noodles with medium hot heat. It was overly sweet without the classic Drunken Noodle flavor that I love. The sweet basil was whole and strong. I enjoyed it more when I cut it into strips to spread it out between bites. As it was Ihad to add a fair bit of siracha to bring up the heat and combat the sweetness and I don't really like siracha so that sayssomething. We were the only dine-in guests on a Saturday evening, but we heard several people come to collect to-go orders. Thebuilding is old. Clean, but it didn't make me trust it enough to try their sushi. The iced tea was good. Read more
