Usual Maine solid pub or dinner food. Not an Irish pub food.\nBut the fries are homade.\nFish and chips are not beer battered.... Passable, the fish is fresh and plenty.\nThe chicken tenders are better then the fish.\nSteak had twice always chewy.\nSaladslarge and over the top.\nHamburgers are excellent.\nReuben wasn\'t chewable.\nNo wine menu or choice.\nStaff is alwayswonderful.\nPlace is Clean.\n1st cocktail\nWill barely have any alchohol.\nSecond one will be better.\nFront room nice.\nBackroom people come in and out from sliding doors to smoke it\'s cold. Plus awkward.\nAnd your forgotten by wait staff.\nIf yourlooking for a unique dining experience?\nFood you can\'t make at home?\nThis isn\'t for you.\nBut a beer burger and fries andgood people\nA good choice. We ordered our food, first time customer, and I needed to change a couple items in the order. She had to keep checking to see if... they had fries and Cole slaw which it says in their menu. Well we drove 30 minutes to get it. When we got back to the hotel theorder was wrong. All I wanted was two fish and fries plates which I specifically said on the phone. There was one right and onefish plate had broccoli!! Who wants broccoli with fish?? Needless to say we didn\'t go back because they were a half hour awayso we just ate it. Definitely should have a house punch on the bar!! Ordered steak tips with no mushrooms and it was loaded with mushrooms. The... waitresses did mention the order was messed up and she would discount the meal but didn\'t. No biggie, was able to pick out themushrooms. Would re visit again. Read more
I had the sliders and fries and everything was *delicious*. Lovely fresh lettuce (and plenty of it) on each slider and honestly... a perfect meal. Iced tea was great too. Place was clean and bright, service excellent. Thank you! Read more
The lady that was working the bar had her bare hands all over her face and in her hair and then on our rims without washing her... hands and grabbed our straws which for unwrapped with her bare fingers touching the top of the straw my food may have been goodif I could eat it, but the plate it was on was too small so my food kept falling off onto the table and by the time the waitresscame back so that we could ask her for another plate my food (nachos)was completely cold as it had been almost 20 minutes thedrinks( after asking for a clean straw which our waitress quickly and politely got)where ok but not great. Our waitress waspolite throughout the entire meal though and we can\'t be too upset about the wait when she was, as far as I could see, the onlyone out other than the bar back. All and all, I have had better here and know that they can do better here but today was not it.The food is in a takeout box because I asked for a takeout box instead of a small plate by the time she got back because Ididn\'t want to send my food back to the kitchen I just wanted to leave so this is what it looks like when I got home.
