Reviews for Gneiss Brewing Company in Limerick, ME
Gneiss Weiss is delightful! Cool outdoor seating and nice setting. The cat is cool as well!
My first time here. I tried the flite so I could sample what was being made. I found the beer pretty decent. There is a wide... variety to choose from. From lagers, sours, and IPAs. Take note there is no food here. Unless you want popcorn. Bring your ownfood, like a pizza. That's not a problem. The server worked the bar was friendly and knowledgeable. Only one little issue.Finding the entrance. It's in the back. Finding the server. Also in the back. Nothing is marked. So you may be wanderinginitially. But once you have that figured out it's a nice place to get a beer. Read more
While visiting with my boyfriend, we each did a flight sampling and loved every beer. We decided to do a third flight to taste... all 15 beers they had to offer! Every beer has a distinct flavor, style and they are all winners. You cannot go wrong withthis brewery! The landscaping was beautiful, including fire pits, picnic benches, Adirondack chairs, corn hole, and igloos tokeep the bugs away. My dog was happily chilling with us in our igloo, and the staff brought a bowl of water put for him andgave doggy biscuits. This place is a GEM!!!! Read more
Great variety of beers. Neat domes outside and a fire for warming, as well as tasting room seating inside overlooking the... brewing area. Nice extras such as glassware, hats, sweatshirt. And to top it off, pleasant, knowledgeable staff. Highlyrecommend. Note: smokehouse truck on site for eats; didn?t try it today. Read more
This is definitely a hidden gem of an excellent craft brew location deep in the country but certainly well worth the drive here... but we were here for a special occasion where they served six course dinner complete with six different kinds of beer all whilesitting in their spacious backyard patios but on regular days they do have a lunch wagon in the back that serves excellentfoods to go along with your freshly brewed cold beers Read more
Knew going in that I was already a fan of their brews. It's a drive to their location but it gives you plenty of time to roll... down your windows, enjoy the country air, and destress. We enjoyed a flight of 5 brews we had not tried and one pint of a fav. They were all great!! There are snacks available inside and a food truck that serves up a great brat on a pretzel bun. Just askfor the sauce on the side. Kick back, unplug, and enjoy the rural setting. Read more
