The workers are pretty nice, and are pretty quick in the morning when I'm headed to work. I love their homemade Rice Krispy... treats but they run out quick. They have alot of different stuff as well, like Hay in the winter. Read more
Best place to shop for school pizzas and other delicacies. Only reason it's not 5 stars, is the atmosphere. The customers are... usually rude and obnoxious, loitering is a contest here. If you didn't grow up here, I don't recommend stumbling in there allnaively. Better have a some change and a cigarette to fend off the mob on your way to the door. I've been living in Lima for just over four years, and this week was the first time I've ever been to meat city. I was actually... really impressed with the great selection of meat and other groceries they have here. The fresh cooked food is pretty good aswell. I would've never guessed a place like this would have some of the best boasted chicken I've ever had. Now that I know whatI've been missing here, I'll most definitely be going back more often. Worst experience with customer service in Lima. Went there on my 30min lunch break.. went back to work empty handed 45min later.... Spent prob about 15-20min waiting for my food (10:30am not even a busy time) then waited forever because their registers wenthaywire.. I explained that I was on my lunch break after waiting the first 5 minutes the man said "it would only be another min"well I waited 15 more minutes atleast and explained I had to leave, which is usually where a reputable business savvyestablishment might offer the food I had been holding for the last 20 minutes free of charge but nope.. thanks for ruining myday Meat City.. Great food I live here and grew up eating there chicken and wedges but what I also know is what they failed to mention are the... rats. Big rats they peek there heads out every now and then but never enough to ruin the food just enough to touch the stuff inthe back which is fine big selection and great wedges Read more
