Took the wife and kids out for a nice dinner and honestly didn't expect it to be that good (I've ate at other Hwy 55s), but it... was amazing! Hands down the best Hwy 55 I've been to in about 5 different counties. Wait staff was courteous and food was hotand delicious when we got it. If the previous negative reviews have any truth to them, I can tell you they have taken thoselessons and applied them because our experience was fantastic! We will DEFINITELY be back. Read more

Came for first time in Lillington.. Table was dirty ordered a burger and fries the fries were salty I had no mushrooms on my... burger had hard piece of green pepper I had onion peel in my burger. And I told her I had no mushrooms and she said I should ofsaid something when I got the burger. I had taken two bites and opened the bun. This visit to Highway 55 was the most disappointing we have experienced. The restaurant was busy, and the wait staff appeared to... be new hires. We go often, and we did not recognize anyone among them. The waiter who took our order seemed unaware of hisresponsibilities. I ordered a salad, which was supposed to include sliced egg and bacon. I prompted the waiter to take mypreference for dressing. He said he did not need to do that. My dining partner order a big double cheeseburger with tomato,lettuce, and onion. Four toppings were supposed to be free. When the robot brought our food, there were no forks, no dressing,and no bacon & egg in the salad. When we received the bill, extra charges had been calculated for tomato ( 50 ¢) onion (50¢)and lettuce (35¢) on the burger. I asked the waiter why we were charged for the toppings. He said he did not know, but hewould ask. Another waitress brought an egg to add to my salad. She also went back for some dressing. When the waiter returnedwith the credit card we used to purchase the meals, we asked, "Did you find out why we were charged for the burger toppings?" Hesaid, "I did not ask. Do you want me to ask?" You can tell I couldn't resist digging in as soon as possible. The triple cheeseburger I had was really good. The beef was... seasoned perfectly, the bread was good, and the toppings were fresh. The fries were also quite good. Also, it was quite amusinghow the food is delivered by what amounts to a serving tray with wheels on it. Finished my food with a smile on my face. Butthe one gripe I have is with the non-responsive waitresses. God, the amount of times we had to attempt getting their attentiondrove us crazy. Read more
One of the new store designs. Prompt service. Food was great. Their robotic server was an interesting addition, and seemed to be... a hit with the kids that were there. Hopefully other locations will consider adding one. Read more
Great location. Late lunch. Love the old fashioned orangeade. Reminded me of ones that I used to make as a teenager working in... my family grill. Very friendly efficient service. Burger made to order and tots. They gave you a sample of today's flavor offrozen custard. Read more
