Pretty good pizza. It just seemed like it took a little long to get a small pizza. Over 30 minutes and it wasn?t even busy?
Y'all I'm picky when it comes to pizza. I think most of the chains taste like hot cardboard. Dogleg is on a whole different... level. Plus the owners they are 5 star people too. This was a delightful place to eat despite the knowledge of golf needed for understanding the restaurant name. Don't let it... throw you off though, this pizza place is AWESOME. We went with a large group, so we ordered a meatlover's pizza, a chickenfajita pizza, and there were a couple calzones in there. The ingredients were really good, the flavor was really good, thevisual appeal was really good, this was just REALLY GOOD. If you need a place to go that will please 95% of the people with you,this is the place to go! If that final 5% is disappointed then they don't know a good pizza. Is this the best pizza you willever have? Maybe not, but it is very yummy and for a pretty darn good price. Overall, we spent maybe $65 to serve 5 adults and 4kids and everybody left happy and we had leftovers too! The chicken fajita pizza was especially surprising. It's a legitchicken fajita in pizza form. If you want Mexican but also want pizza, get this pizza. The seasoning was great and they evenseasoned the veggies, which too many times a restaurant doesn't do. The meatlover's seems to use real bacon for their baconbits, you can immediately tell it's cooked correctly and just just some weird processed faux bacon bits. And the staff is SUPERnice. I accidently dropped my soda (luckily the spill wasn't huge) but my cup was busted. They cleaned it up super fast, saiddon't worry about it, and gave me a new cup right away. Thanks guys! Read more
We ordered pizza to take home to a hungry crowd. I ordered No-dough pizza for my son who is following a keto diet. The... No-dough portion was extremely small compared to portions served by other restaurants in the county, but the flavor was good. Iordered a Large all meat pizza for several in my crew. When I arrived home to open the box, I discovered that the kitchen crewhad switched my order with the gentleman's behind me in line. We had veggies on our pizza, so the grands were greatlydisappointed. I also ordered an onion pizza in small size. There were not enough onions on the pie to appreciate the taste, sowe added veggies from the Large pizza. When I sent the Dogleg restaurant a message about the mixup, NoOne responded. I willcheck the contents of the box in the future. Taste of their product is Good. Portions for the keto alternative are stingy.Responsiveness is absent. Read more
Dawn and Bailey are exceptional as owners in this family business. In addition, each staff member was informative and... personable. From the fresh house salad to the veggie pizza ending with chocolate buns for dessert dessert it was presented asartistry. By the way, their dough is made in-house numerous times daily. Nice little joint hidden in the middle of Campbell University. Food was served piping hot, salad and pasta portions were big.... Pizza ordered was a small but adequate for one person. Crust was a little greasy and garlicky. But overall was a good pizza.Salad was fresh and big. Appearance was perfect, but the greens were a little too big. Chicken fettuccine alfredo, portion wasbig. Had good flavor, but needed less oil and more cheese. It was not a traditional creamy alfredo. Service was good. Read more
Amazing food, especially the fajita sandwich, but they are REALLY slow. You will be waiting a long time, prepare accordingly.
