I don't know about morning shift but the evening shift was busy with a woman outside behind the store. I stood inside for 5... minutes by myself waiting to get my order that I had called ahead and ordered for pick up. I felt uneasy inside so I went backto my car. Finally they came In so I went back inside and I was told they didn't have any phone orders. Ok then. I wasn't aboutto place an order after I saw them all outside "playing". Read more
This is the first waffle house location I've been to. The staff are very nice and accommodating. It also isn't ever that crowded... which isn't a major thing but I enjoy the calm atmosphere. Read more
Walked in at 12:30am, there was a sign on the door stating ?TO GO ONLY?. There were about 5 customers inside, no one had drinks.... Everyone was apparently waiting on ?TO GO ORDERS?. After entering, instead of being greeted with a ?Hello, welcome in? or ?Hi,have a seat anywhere and we?ll be right with you?, we were greeted with ?TO GO ONLY? in unison by 3 people. After we werereminded our food had to be take out, we then were told by PAULA it would be ?a minute before she could get to our food?. ?Aminute? meaning ?at least 20 minutes? after asking what ?a minute? meant? so we drove on down to Indian Trail and 29 where wewere warmly greeted and taken care of immediately. First off the food was amazing and I wasn't sure what I wanted but Ashlee suggested the Texas bacon cheese steak and it was the... best thing I've ever had from waffle house and she was by far the best server I've ever had at waffle house. I will definitelybe back ???? Read more
Where do I begin!! This was by far the BEST Waffle House experience I have ever had! Everyone was exceptional in their customer... service, food prep, and clean up. It was AMAZING!! Dee, the manager, did a fantastic job being aware of waiting customers,maintaining order and managing her young crew with respect and positive encouragement. Everyone seemed concerned about gettingorders prepared and out to customers in a timely manner. As we waited for our order we had the pleasure of observing servers -Josh, Stef and Amy in action. They were on point!! And the cooks!! AMAZING!! - props to Tevin, Janiyah and Asia. They wereefficient in getting orders beautifully prepared in close quarters! Henry, the door greeter was very pleasant and when hewasn?t greeting, he was cleaning! There was quite a rush of to-go orders along with seated guests, and let me just say, thisplace ran like a well oiled machine! So nice to see so many young people working well together and independently! They did notskip a beat! When the rush ended, everyone got busy restocking, tidying up, washing dishes preparing for the next rush! I neversaw anyone on their phones, or shooting the breeze when things needed to be done. Honestly, it was such a pleasure to visit this Waffle House at 1:00 a.m. in the morning. Just one of a few Waffle Houses they... still allowed dining, the food was spectacular I even switched it up and got some hash browns instead of my usual grit bowl lol.They will kind of busy but I didn't mind to wait, the service was overall very good no complaints whatsoever, well I will saythis there was a drunk guy that just kept going on and on talking derogative but that still didn't take away from me ordering myfood and eating there I will still go there on my lunch break and eat. Half the stire seating was closed. Which is understandable they only had one server but communication is key instead of letting... someone stand by the doorway for minutes on end. A simple how are you will get to you momentarily is fine but they don't care Iguess because the customers are predominantly Mexican but the staff is predominantly American maybe it's just me.,..
