My partner is Indian, and we both put Indian food at the top of our favorite cuisines. This has been by far the best butter... chicken, chicken 65, and naan that we've had in years or ever. We're definitely coming back in the future and bringing hisparents. The chicken 65 is crispy, juicy, and flavorful. There's tender onions and jalapeños to give it more texture too. Thebutter chicken is sweet, tangy, and robust. The depth of the flavor was not expected from how the restaurant's location. Half ofthe reason for my review is keeping a mark for this restaurant so that I can come back again. The naan was cheap, large, fresh,and so soft. It pairs well with the butter chicken. I came here pretty full after leaving work to meet my partner and hiscolleagues. I came in expecting to try one bite of everything for curiosity and ended up eating half a naan (one naan is aboutthe size of a personal pizza) and several bites of butter chicken and chicken 65. This place is also obviously a small, local,family owned business. The staff were very polite. There's no reason not to support this place. Read more

Had iftar here tonight & Shalimar did not disappoint- as usual! Not my first time coming here to eat. The quality of food &... service is unmatched in the area. This experience was great. The Ramadan buffet is astounding. Great selection of dishes. Theyincluded dates & fresh fruit as well as the usual hot items- an especially personal effort was made to accommodate brothers &sisters who have been fasting all day. My favorites on the buffet were the chicken Tikka masala & chana masala. I don't know whodoes the cooking, but they're very talented at their craft. The food is always amazing! Read more
My husband and I ordered the boti sizzler, garlic naan, veggie samosas, and fried chicken and fries. My sister ordered one of... the curries with a side of jasmine rice. Everything was phenomenal, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I willdefinitely get the garlic naan, boti sizzler, curry, and samosas again. Food: wonderful, would definitely go back for it. Chicken Tikka masala was excellent, butter chicken was amazing, lovely naan,... and so forth. Dining/service: plastic utensils and sub-par as far as being waited on. Paper cups for water, sort of halfself-service. The staff are friendly and helpful, however. Read more
Delicious, authentic Pakistani food. We ordered beef seekh kabab, Tikka Masala, Lahori Chana, Goat Karahi, and Chicken Karahi... with Naan. Everything was fresh and delicious.
