Bought a $106 two pound cake from them. Was really excited to get this Dominican cake like I use to in nyc. Unfortunately the... cake was really dry like it was old. Also, I?ve never encountered food coloring from cake that takes 2 days to wear off yourhand! Unreal. Won?t be getting my business again. The food is excellent. No idea if it is authentic or not, but I do know you should expect mostly Spanish, enough English to get... the job done, and to leave with excellent goodies (both savory and sweet). Read more
Great place for a quick bite, plenty of small plates or tapas that are great authentic Dominican dishes and everything was just... delicious. Do what you can to plan on eating there or very quickly, most of it is fried in some capacity and everyone knows thatdoesn't always travel well. Read more
Dominican authentic food. It's made fresh. Family owned business. The savoury food is not only delicious, but so are the home... made juices and cakes! The wife makes the cakes and they're so delicious!! The cake bread part is light and the icing alsodoesn't too thick. The meat inside the savoury foods so well seasoned and moist. Love this place!! I went to go get this cake made for my son, I specifically asked for pine apple filling and saw them write it down in the order.... After Slicing the first slice I noticed it was a different flavor filling. I went in and explained to the guy at the front andtold him that We didn't enjoy the cake due to the filling , he gave me a smart remark. I used to love this little corner spot,but because of the Poor Customer service and the response from the older Male owner I will never Return!! If You want to beattended with respect and in a place where they value your business go somewhere else , this isn't the place. Read more
