So I read the reviews and the Gal who posted how great the Pierogie Pizza was made my "Taste buds" crave that Pizza. So, that's... the first thing we ordered......and OH MY GOODNESS......"WHAT A PIZZA"!! I could eat that everyday!!! And you have to getit with the Sautéed Onions! ???? It was our 1st time there and we were treated like "Royalty".....those Gals couldn't havetreated Kate Middleton any better. We felt so honored by their kindness!! Yes!! We are going back for more Pierogie Pizza& the TLC!!! A great Italian restaurant that serves up terrific food at a reasonable price. We never saw the inside since we used one of... their three outdoor tables. The waitress was super friendly & helpful. We received their family pizza special which was apitcher of drink (Sweet Tea), bowl of salad, and a pizza pie. All of which were great. The pizza was a surprise rectangle. And especially good as the crust had an unique bakery, pie-like consistency that held well. The sauce was a bit sweet, and alongw sausage & mushroom toppings and cooked beautifully was excellent! I used to absolutely love this place. Until the service I received today. We walked in a party of 4 two adults and 2 kids.... Waited to be seated only to be told there was no seating available. Even though from where I was standing I could see about fouropen tables inside and one Open table outside. I even walked into the side room to see a table with four chairs open and ready.They obviously just didn't want to accommodate or maybe deal with children, maybe they didn't want any more business for thatday I don't know what it was but it was extremely rude and off putting. Outstanding place to eat. Lots of food for a terrific price. Waitress was attentive and friendly. I can't even say enough how... good the food was. I will definitely go back. Will recommend it to everyone I know. Read more
I highly recommend the perogie pizza! It is simply amazing. I wish I lived nearby so I could get this more often. I recommend... ordering a size down from the pizza size you want, because the pizza is very fulling! The pizza starts with a pie-crust likecrust, which is so flaky and buttery goodness. It is then topped with mashed potatoes, and covered in I think white and yellowamerican cheese (which is nice and crispy), then topped with onions!!! I know american cheese sounds weird but it works so wellwith the mashed potatoes. The only con I have to say is I added spicy sausage to the pizza, and while the sausage was reallygood! We absolutely love this Italian restaurant. We found this place a few months ago and sadly we no longer want to go to our old... favorites. The dinners here are now the gold standard in which we compare all other pasta dishes. Pizza here is so good also. I recommend the ham and pineapple. Read more
This place used to be really good. Our last 2 trips, however, have been an example of how not to run a restaurant. The most... recent trip was a take-out order. The pictures below show the whole story. Raw dough in places, no cheese and dough so thin youcan read a book through it. We called them (the lady on the phone lied about who she was because apparently, no one there willtake responsibility for anything) to discuss what could be done to make it right. We took the pizzas back and the cook (Kelly)came out with an unnecessarily bad attitude. I didn't even want money back I just wanted them to acknowledge that they didn'tmake good pizzas. Which of course they wouldn't do...well the pictures are proof. On top of that, they kept the bad pizza. Wepaid $50 for 8 slices of pizza. The trip before that, on July 3rd, our family essentially became workers. Clearing multipletables and even taking orders. Clearly they don't have enough help which is of no surprise considering how they treat payingcustomers. Imagine how they treat their employees. This place has gone downhill and FAST. We used to come from Latrobe for theirpizza but will not be returning. Funnily enough this place tries so hard to separate themselves from the Latrobe location butthere's no difference. My mom and I visited Rosalie's for the first time. Kelli, the manager, was incredible. My mom needed some ADA TLC; she made... sure that we were comfortable. We tried the pierogi pizza, the grilled mushrooms and cheese, and the sampler which includedlasagna, gnocchi, ravioli and spaghetti.............and the garlic bread. Oh my goodness, the garlic toast was AMAZING, andPERFECT. I would travel 40 miles any day for a piece of that toast that Theresa made. The pierogi pizza was almost better thana real pierogi, with sautéed onions on top. I really really enjoyed the grilled mushrooms and cheese. For any mushroom lover,it was dreamy.
