We decided to take my mom to dinner , since I haven't been here in about 10 years and we always had a positive experience. ... REALLY BAD CHOICE this time. We were there for almost two hours waiting for our food. We never got our salads, and when thefood finally came out, my moms was cold. The chicken was like a hockey puck; she got the chicken parmesan, which she sent back. Instead of waiting another hour for her food, I ended up giving her half my steak. My baked potato didn't come out foranother 15 minutes, although they had the butter and sour cream on the plate with my steak. The only decent part of the wholedinner was the appetizer; our waitress was pretty good, too. She really tried. It was not even close to being worth the $100we spent. VERY DISAPPOINTED...... I wouldn't have even given the one star, but I couldn't leave a review without it. And I'mnot the type to complain, because I've worked in food service and I know what it's like, but this is one of the worstexperiences I've had at a restaurant. Read more
The sandwiches we had tasted good but the service was slow. The rueben was light on meat and cheese however. The chicken cheese... sub was good. The prices are high. 2 sandwiches, one cup of soup, only one hot tea to drink and the bill was over $40 beforetip. Read more

Update This is my third time here and I am still not impressed with the menu however I think the staff is always amazing. The... people I go with do enjoy the food. I am on a restricted diet due to health complications and just nothing on the menu toaccommodate so I end up picking at something and then eat when I get home. So hopefully the owners see this and will startadding some other options to those with food allergies to gluten, fructose and lactose ?????????? Read more
This place was not as good as the reviews said. The wait staff was ok for being undermanned but that is no excuse for the bad... food. The chicken melt tastes like a cat took a dump in my mouth. The blt bacon was basically burnt. No refills and only like 4ice cubes in my sweet tea which was not brewed like I was told it was. Not to mention the atmosphere is dull and dirty with ahalf inch of dust on the surfaces. Either a health inspector never goes there or the health inspector is a local who doesn'tcare. This is got to be one of the worst places I have been to eat in the area. The prices were a little higher than otherplaces in the area. Just avoid this place. Only locals will like this restaurant. The bar outside is a nice escape from the norm. Has picnic tables for larger groups. You can also sit at the bar. There is... Saturday entertainment in the summer. Great experience! I got chicken tenders and applesauce. The chicken tenders were cooked really great. Super crispy but nice and... juicy on the inside. I?m picky sometimes so I absolutely loved how they included applesauce as a side. I also did end up tryingthe fresh cut fries and they were really good too! Especially considering I?m not a big fry fan. The kids menu options weregreat too, they had spaghetti in a kids portion. I love that since I?m a pasta fan but I don?t see that often. My mother got aChicken philly. She really enjoyed it, though it kind of fell apart a little. The waitress also did not check on us often, whichsome people get annoyed over but I personally like to be left alone. The service was also very fast even though they were fairlybusy. I have been going to the Forks Inn since I was a small child. We always stop by when we are in the area. That was until today. A... small group of us stopped (3) and ordered 3 sandwiches with home fries. 40 minutes later I nicely asked the wait staff if ourorder would be done soon that I had to leave soon because my son had to get to work. Then a short woman with black hair, Ibelieve her name was Kim came out of the kitchen. Kim was already visibly agitated and started loudly claiming that my order hadonly come in 18 minutes ago and that I could come check. I simply told her I have been here waiting for 40 minutes, and she saidwe?ll leave then. I takes a lot to irritate me at a restaurant, I tip well, and most of the time I bring a large party with mewho also tip well. All I. An say is that these people have changed a lot.
