This McDonald's has had a broken order screen for about a year now. Which means the order is occasionally wrong And you can't... confirm it cuz you have no idea if they understood what you got or not so you end up holding up the line while you go throughyour bag when you pick up your food. I stopped going here in the first place because they stopped making my favorite burger the mushrooms Swiss burger. I decided to... give them another shot and again I'm disappointed. Quite possibly the worst McDonald?s around the area. You?re better off driving further down the street to go to the Vernon hills... McDonald?s. Worst service and even worse food production. I don?t usually write reviews for fast food places but the other day I LOST IT. June 26th at 11:00 am I got 2 single... cheeseburgers. My bite almost rolled out of my mouth because my jaw dropped.. the bun was crisped. Like it was TOASTED. I swearon my life this was the best McDonald?s cheeseburger I?ve had in my ENTIRE life. I?m having a lot of trouble with 24 hour McDonald?s lately. This one they weren?t talking at the speaker in drive thru, they... took like 15 minutes with the guy in front of me, then I finally get to the window the cashier tells me cash only. I could havebeen to another location in that time. Why don?t they put that on the automatic speaker message. Really frustrating. I?m arestaurant manager and had a busy and late night, it?s 1am and nothing is open. I did t have time to eat at my work so I wasjust looking for a quick bite on my way home and now I have to, again, make a search for food because nobody can communicateeffectively with the guest? Tape a sign to the windows or drive thru speaker. And when I was told, it was just matter of fact,not even apologetic. I HATE making complaints like this as a restaurant manager but this is McDonalds. This is supposed to bethe biggest restaurant chain in the world, with money and resources beyond all local and national chains. This shouldn?t be theway it is. And it?s multiple locations.
